“This item is a joke. The rate up adapter is poor for mouse response even with the sensitivity adjusted. The turbo mode in fact slows down the firing rate in FPS sports meeting. Some features such as missile lock and evasive drills are lost with this device. I will be returning for a refund.”

Honestly my expectation for this product has been lower than how it performed in real. In other words, it works better than I expected. But don’t expect this will bring the level of FPS gaming on your PS3 to the same par as PC does.
Couple things that you need to know about this product.
First, use a WIRED, OPTICAL and preferably, on-the-run DPI adjusting mouse with a MOUSE PAD on a STABLE SURFACE. Not that wireless mouse have lags or such, but more like this device is somewhat picky on what mouse and keyboard you use. I end up buying a Logitech MX518 wired mouse for it since none of my existing mouse works with it (including the Logitech G9). As for the keyboard? Any standard would do, if you have issues with the keyboard, try to use it on the PS/2 port instead if your keyboard comes with an USB to PS/2 adapter.
Second, use an USB extension cable if you have to. This device is pretty small, 3 foot of cable isn’t quite far enough if you have a huge TV and wants to sit back a small bit further. Of course careful about not yanking the device too hard or you might end up yanking your PS3 off where-ever you positioned it too.
Third, find your sweet spot. Remember the first thing I mentioned above and keep in mind that it’s just the same as you would using your mouse with a regular computer too. If the condition that you place your mouse in wouldn’t go with your regular PC, it won’t with this device neither. The wheels for adjusting both X- and Y-axis is a excellent thought IF you don’t have a mouse with on-the-run DPI adjusting function. Why? As some other reviewers somewhere else mentioned, this device is either A) Very FAST but not very accure , or B) Very SMOOTH but painfully slow, and you cannot have BOTH AT THE SAME TIME. So to have a mouse with on-the-run DPI adjustment will be beneficial if you need to pull off couple accrue shots and then turn around very quick, all you can do is just push a button or few on the mouse and you are done. All that said and done, you need to experiment with a few sports meeting and find your own sweet spot with either adjusting the axis wheels or the DPI settings.
Last, remember all sports meeting reacts differently. This can range anywhere from latency to how charming the game reacts to the control. Some sports meeting such as Resistance 2 has a very small lag and pretty accrue response to the device; While other sports meeting such as the Battlefield Terrible Company and Killzone 2 has a slight lag and not as charming or, accrue response as Resistance 2 to the device, but you will get used to it pretty quick as long as you have found and get used to your sweet spot. Sports meeting with customizable button mappings would be splendid since some people are used to certain way of aiming-down-the-sight or, throwing a grenade. For those sports meeting that does not offer customizable button mappings, you can either try to find the best existing controller mappings, or map the device (refer to the manual!) and remember, the analog sticks INCLUDING the push down action (L/R3) CANNOT be remapped.
Final thought? For an emulating concept device, it’s doing what it suppose to. As long as you follow those points I mentioned above and play around with it, you can find that it does make it somewhat simpler to play FPSes on your PS3.
Oh and YES, it DOES work with the new Slim PS3.
P.S. I never tried other competitors’ product so I cannot compare nor I would know how they reacts compare to this.

First, let me just say that I have only tried this product with FPS sports meeting on my PS3 so far. I haven’t tried it with real time approach sports meeting like Command and Conquer, so my review is based strictly off of my experience with FPS sports meeting.
I am one of the many former PC gamers out there who just cannot get used to playing FPS sports meeting with a console controller, so I chose to try my luck with this product. I was absolutely disappointed. I tried this product with Resistance, Resistance 2, Modern Warfare, and World at World, and I could not get the mouse to work correctly with any of these sports meeting. The conundrum here is what people call a “deadzone” and it’s really my own fault for not researching this more before dropping $100 on this product. You cannot and will not be able to get the mouse to aim correctly. Believe me when I tell you that it will be not anything like playing on a PC at all. Even after all the adjusting with the mouse sensitivity and after all the different mice I’ve tried (Microsoft, Logitech, even ancient school ball mouses), I cannot get it to work correctly. Your aim will be all over the place. In fact, using this thing in fact made me a bit better at using the console controller because I got so fed up with it that I went back to using a regular controller.
Also, they should have added a third USB port to this thing. Right now, if you want to configure the keyboard, you need to unplug the mouse and vice versa. Small annoyance, but it’s something they should’ve thought of, especially if they are charging $100 for this thing.
The only reason I didn’t give this product a 1-star rating was because the keyboard part of this thing in fact works very well. I was able to map all my FPS buttons to the keyboard without any issues. Plus it worked perfectly in the game. Unfortunately, it doesn’t make a difference if you can’t aim your gun at anything. Bottom line, I would stay away from this product if you plot on using it for FPS sports meeting on the PS3.

The cons take small away from the product by and large. I’d recommend this as you can use your favorite keyboard and mouse unlike the FragFX. I am a fan of ASDW for movement, not the thumb pad like FragFX.
Pros:
- The product appears to be honestly solid in terms of construction.
- Once I figured out mapping, it was simple to do.
Cons:
- The manual leaves a bit to be desired.
- I have noticed that some keys ’stick’, when a key is stuck, it keeps repeating till you press it again. Software update?
- The mouse sensitivity takes some getting use to, you will NEVER get your mouse to spin you around like it does on a PC. So the most you’ll ever do is the max of alacrity of any one axis when using a normal controller.
- The vendor website(as a sign of their company quality) stinks, try finding anything useful on their website about the product. It would be splendid if a $100 item would in fact have software updates for it.
- Their website is pretty devoid of a support interface as well. Write to an email address but not anything else.
