I have bought 4 items from Amazon and out of the 4 only 2 work ( a TV wall mount and a cover for a foot pedal. The Rock band Drums and Componant cables I bought both came defective.

1) You need to crank the volume up past 11 in order to drown out the ‘patah-patah’ stick-on plastic-thumping.
2) The new Guitar Hero is just around the corner with a better drum kit (less noise, better residency)
3) Do you have the space for two toy drum sets? If not, I’d wait for GHWT. Otherwise, have fun with it!

I had bought this item as a gift for my son’s birthday. Needless to say he was very miserable because the red pad was defective. I attempted to friend the seller via email and I have received no response. I will not buy from this seller again.

Pros:
1. Very durable, never heard of one breaking.
2. Get to play drums on career mode, which is awesome
3. Can form a band with friends on multiplayer
4. The sections you hit are made of a very excellent rubber which never show any signs of rips or anything.
5. I nail the drums and I have had no problems
6. Can use it for Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero: World Tour
7. Splendid Price
Cons:
1. Not as cool as the Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero: World Tour drums
2. No raised symbols to hit
3. No 5th drum section to hit (the 2 coming out I believe do)
4. Not Wireless
5. The Bass Step gets tiring at times
By and large:
It is a must have if you have Rock Band. You won’t be disappointed on performance and it brings a whole new look to release player career mode and playing online/with your friends.

After careful consideration, I chose to buy this game piece meal since I already had the guitar from Guitar Hero. I selected up the drums from Amazon and they are very cool. It’s like playing the real thing to the songs.
If you have Rock Band, get the drums. They’re worth the extra cash.
