Start a Band…the Guitar Hero Way

Wireless Instruments
New to GHWT is a redesigned, more open guitar controller, which features a touch-sensitive slide bar on the neck that allows the player to play owing to certain song passages without needing to strum. Check out the drum kit featuring three drum pads, two raised cymbals, and a bass kick pedal. The drum controller combines larger and quieter, velocity-sensitive drum heads with soft rubber construction to deliver authentic bounce back and is simple to set up, go, break down and store.
Be the Next Splendid Songwriter
Music Studio lets players express their musical creativity by giving them access to a full complement of tools to make digital music from scratch utilizing the guitar controller and drum kit. Players can make their tracks and then play them in-game or share the recordings with the entire Guitar Hero community owing to GHTunes. GHTunes allows other gamers from around the world to download and play the community’s original tracks. Available to Xbox 360 gamers is Line 6’s guitar tone technology, enabling them to use amps, cabs, and effects from the Line 6 POD.
Make the Band
Budding rock stars can live out their rock ānā roll fantasies by playing either a release instrument or any combination of instruments, in addition to the full band experience. When rocking as part of a band, up to four players can jam together in quickplay or as they progress owing to a career. Both band and release-player careers feature non-linear progression giving artists the option to change difficulty and instruments with a variety of different gigs available at any time.
Never Jam Solo Again
Virtual musicians in need of band mates can take their careers online forming worldwide ensembles so no rock star ever has to play a gig solo. Plus, GHWT adds a “Battle of the Bands” modes, which allows eight players to join online and challenge each other band-to-band to establish global supremacy.
Customize Everything
The character creator allows gamers to make a rock star with stylishness as unique as their own. Resolution customization from the clothes, to the facial and body structure, to the tattoos and accessories, players are encouraged to let loose their inside rock legend. The Rock Star Creator doesn’t just allow players to build the ultimate rock god; the in-depth creators include the ability to customize guitars, drums and microphones. Adding yet another layer of personalization, gamers can make custom logos for their instruments, band, or baby book covers.
A Set List for the Ages
The Guitar Hero World Tour set list is comprised entirely of master recordings from some of the greatest artists of all-time including Van Halen, Linkin Park, The Eagles, and Sublime. There are over 85 tracks, plus normal downloadable singles and track packs. After playing it today for first time I instantly reached the conclusion that Guitar Hero World Tour is by far and away the best rhythm game available on the market today, was worth the wait, Guitar Hero is way better than Rock Band. Guitar Hero delivers perfectly, in my opinion it has everything I wanted out of a guitar rhythm game: splendid peripherals and fun-to-play music. Jamming with Ozzy Osbourne was incredible. In general sound quality and very large and song choice is second-to-none. New and improved customizable avatar was a nice addition. By and large Guitar Hero also has superb game play options co-op, face-off, battles, and several online modes.

First of all the pros: The guitar looks pretty
The Cons: One of the worst setlists ever, only has a few excellent songs, drums are made of plastic foundation, drums are silent on toms/snare LOUD on hi-hat/crash, drum sticks in box are made of balsa wood which broke after about 4-5 songs,Guitar slider gets in the way of playing, drum chart looks distant on screen, crappy star potential activate, drum set blocks out my tv, footpedal absolutely HORRIBLE it is cheap material, hard to do quick taps, and has no spring-back, music studio has very few lead sounds including absolutely no acoustic that I could find.
By and large: a complete dissipate of cash that I was so displeased with that I had to return it.

I have been playing guitar hero for about a year, and have played every gaame besides guiotar hero rock the 80’s. In my opinion, this game is the best. It has everything that guitar hero 3 has, and of course, much much more. I cannot compare the drums to rock bands, because I can only play on simple, but the guitar is splendid and the motion sensor frets under the normal ones work splendid. Also, you get cash for doing well as well as simply getting stars, so the reward for getting 100% on a song is better than getting just 5 stars. The vocals also work flawlessly. In my opinion, this game is the best of all of the guitar hero sports meeting, and is by far the deepest.

Well when I first got Guitar Hero I liked it. The reason why I like Guitar Hero is because it was a new game, who dose it like new sports meeting? Then problems came. When ever you played it the cotroller would not let you go up. Then the button would some times jam up, so you could not play. The body of the guitar was the only thing that did not break. Another reason why i don’t like it is because it broke. Guitar Hero is a excellent game ,but don’t buy it. If you want to go owing to problems like i did go and buy it ,but if you don’t want to go owing to problems like I did then don’t buy.

I can’t believe Neversoft couldn’t come up with something better than this. I guess they saved all their cash for Heidi Klum and Kobe for advertising. Character customization? Who cares. There are a lot of excellent songs, if you only want to play guitar. but there are a LOT more crappy songs then you’d find on Rock Band. If you have played Rock Band you will despise the band interface, have no thought how to use band star potential and will have very small choice in what set lists you play. The star/streak meter and band info is WAAAAY up in the far corner which is nearly impossible to see without looking away from your fret! FORGET about excellent online play – that interface STINKS! You can’t see what the band leader is doing…. which is PICKING THE NEXT SETLIST! This game is a LOUSY version of Rock Band. SAVE YOUR MONEY – if you have Rock Band already, go rent it – you’ll thank me for it.
