I rented this game and was highly disapointed with it i who have played/owned nearly all the WWE/WWF sports meeting for all systems thought this game wasnt excellent. First of all it is nearly exactly the same as DOR1 witch i dont like.The conundrum with these sports meeting is that in season mode u have to make a megastar witch restricts u from sertain moves .Since Season mode is horrible this game is mainly a Multiplayer game .But mutliplayer mode isnt excellent either there are no 5or6 player matches just cause there is only 4 controller slots on gamecube.Also they added stamina on to this game witch was to make it more realistic witch is excellent the conundrum is it takes for ever to restore.
This game is only excellent if u have a party and u want to play a multiplayer game but in some ways DOR1 is better. So i dont reckemend this get Smackdown vs Raw 2006 or the first verson instead u will be so much happyer

This game is pathetic. I am a huge wrestling fan and I’ve played every THQ WWE game. This is one of the worst and it’s obvious the other people who wrote reviews have never played the WWE Smackdown sports meeting.
First off the game play in DOR2 is complete garbage just like the first.
Second, they did not anything to make this game better than the first Day of Reckoning. Hardly any changes.
The CAW feature was the only excellent thing about the first DOR. The CAW feature in DOR2 is not as excellent as the first.
WWE should drop THQ. Sure they can make a splendid fighting stylishness for the Smackdown sports meeting on ps2, but they can’t make a excellent CAW on the Smackdown sports meeting for ps2. Then they can make a excellent CAW for the GameCube and the Xbox, but they can’t make a excellent fighting syle for the GameCube and Xbox.
What is incorrect with THQ?
Please help me boycot any THQ sports meeting until they get a wrestling game right.

First off, let me say this game really sucks! One complaint I have about it is that the rosters are STILL totaly out of date! Yeah, I know that it is supposed to be a continuation of the first Day of Reckoning, but at least place Batista on Smackdown! The controls are sluggish and unresponsive, it is impossible to win by pinfall, the camera angles are perplexing, and there is STILL no voiceover or commentary! In this day and age, no voiceover or commentary is just plain sad. Also, Make-a-championchip, make-a-pay per view are also absent in this GameCube version, but automatically included in Smackdown vs. RAW 2006. THQ is really biest to PS2 and Xbox. If they had just included all of these features and less frustrating gameplay, this could have one of the greats, but since they didn’t, it is one that will be on the hall of bring shame on. Screw you, THQ!!!!!

I ordered this game 2 days ago and i checked my order info. I’m gonna recieve it on November 1! WTH! I’ve been antcipating this game for a year and now i have to wait 2 months to get it! Screw you, Amazon!

This is a very terrible game. It is the exact same thing as last year. The only diffrence is new wrestlers, entrances, and one new match (last man standing). There are also no megastar voice overs,and there is just only 40 superstars(including the 5 legends). So don’t get this game unless you don’t have the original day of reckoning.
