My 10 yr ancient granddaughter likes this game. She was to level 3 in a few days and was proud. She likes the show Wizards of Waverly Place and that is why I selected it.

My daughter just likes Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place. She bought the DS game this afternoon out of town. She started playing it this evening, and within an hour was done the entire game (4or5 levels). She in fact got very sad, and cried. She said, Is that all there is???”. Anyhow, to me as a parent I believe for the $20.00 cost she indeed did not get what she was entitled to. This would be a excellent “Demo” that would be really free for download off any site. She is now not very impressed with Disney. She says that Disney just wanted to make cash off of this. Hmmmmm.

Wizard so fwaverly place is alot of fun, but it was to simple i beat the game in about two hour. There are parts of it that are challanging, but over sall the game is simple. Ifr you are looking for a game that is fun to play then this is a excellent game, it is nearly likke watching an episode of the show, but you are playing the characters. If you want more of a challange than i recomane going with a game like Tinkerbell which is more challangeing and give the player more to do and takes longer to beat. You can place that game down and come back to it because the game has many quests you musty complete to beat the entire game.

MY DAUGHTER LOVES THIS GAME IT WAS LIKE BUYING IT FROM WALMART OR SOMTHING GREAT QUALITY

As appears evident from previous reviews, this game fails to realize a balance between challenge for grown-up kids and ease of use for younger kids. There is a TON of reading, which made it impossible for my first grader to play this game on her own. Essentially, you as the adult will end up reading/playing a significant part of the game. There is a moderately low level of reward for all the work you need to place into finding objects. On a clear note, my daugher did delight in some of the mini sports meeting, and loved having a game with her favorite TV characters on it, but it failed to entertain her for more than 5-10 minutes at a time. There are other ds sports meeting that are more age appropriate and entertaining for the 6-8 year ancient group.
