Winnie the Pooh: Adventures in the 100 Acre Woods
Editorial Review
Winnie the Pooh has loved a bolt from the blue resurgence in popularity lately–and thus it should come as no bolt from the blue that this quaint Game Boy release has emerged as a sleeper hit for the handheld system. Everybody likes Winnie the Pooh–and the masterminds behind this game know it. Pooh is packed with sports meeting aimed mostly at younger players.
Players start by picking from one of seven characters including Tigger, Eeyore, Rabbit, and Piglet. Start in your character’s house and explore a huge world, complete with hidden paths. By the side of the road, you’ll encounter friends who will give you cards, which you can use when playing penetrate sports meeting. Other cards, like the seedling card, can be planted and nourished with water-can cards.
Besides sports meeting like catching acorns and exercising, characters will face adventures, such as Pooh rescuing Piglet from a waterfall. The completed adventures then become part of players’ storybooks to be relived again. The sports meeting are simplistic and usually a matter of moving from space to space, but it all adds up to an entertaining package, especially for young children. But we won’t tell anyone if you are a bit grown-up. –Robb Guido
Pros:
- Fun cast of characters
- Sports meeting are unadorned yet fun
Cons:
- Grown-up kids will tire of its elementary nature

I reflect this game is for anyone. It has fun penetrate sports meeting and lots of things to explore. I loved Winnie the Pooh’s house the most because you can decorate his house and read small tales you collect, and play mini sports meeting. This game is not too simple but not too hard.

My sister is 5 years ancient (I’m 13) and she recently got a Game Boy and this Pooh game for her birthday. I was EXTREMELY BORED and went up to my sister’s room to play it. Even though this game was so-so, I played it for over an hour.

This game is fabulous, there’s so much to do with it.My 6 year ancient and my three year ancient LOVE IT !! I guess you just have to be young at heart to fully delight in the cuteness of this game, it’s in fact GOOD,& WHOLESOME,which is a rare comodity these days!! It provides hours of fun for my kids, and my kids are no dummies they are head of their class, with confidential after school tutors for other confidential classes that are not offered ie: French, Latin, Ice skating, Fine Art, and Classical readings, etc.. I would buy this game for anyone i know, who wants their outcome to have carefree and ancient fashioned fun!!

I got my daughter this game with her GBA for her birthday. It is supposedly for ages 4 and up but there is a lot of reading involved. All this game did was make us all mad and really upset my daughter since she couldn’t play without help. I do not feel this game is excellent for kids under 7 due to the reading required and a outcome over 7 would be bored with it. It plays the same game over and over. Save your cash or buy a different game. We are taking ours back!!!
