Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos features:
It has been nearly fifteen years since the war between the orcs and humans finished. An uneasy peace settled over the land while, for years, the drums of war were silent. Yet the kingdoms of men grew complacent in their victory – and at a snail’s pace, the defeated orcish clans regrouped under the banner of a new thinker leader.
Now a darker shadow has fallen over the world, threatening to extinguish all life – all hope. The drums of war play upon the winds once again – rising urgently towards the inevitable hour when the skies will rain fire – and the world will tremble before the coming of the Burning Legion.
The Day of Judgment has come…

- Two nations of warriors new to the Warcraft Universe; theplague-ridden Undead and the mysterious Night Elves.

This is one of the worst sports meeting I’ve ever played. The RPG element is nearly non-existant. The RTS element is incredibly dumbed down — just build a few soldiers, a few archers, a few spellcasters, and a few artillery, and attack, and that sums out every campaign mission and online game you’ll ever play. The tale is ridiculous, it’s a copy of Starcraft/Brood War nearly to the letter — you start as excellent guy, excellent guy turns terrible, you play as formerly excellent terrible guy, then you beat the terrible guy who commands the formerly excellent terrible guy. Every creature you face talks trash to you right before you kill it, by the side of the shape of “you fool, you DARE challenge me!” Every release time. Just about every cutscene involves some idiot getting tricked into joining the terrible guys, like in Brood War except even dumber.
If Blizzard hadn’t built up so much goodwill with Warcraft 2, Starcraft and Diablo, this game would have been in the bargain bin after two weeks. 0/10 and may god have mercy on your soul.

The Battlechest is pretty excellent. You get both WarCraft3 and its expansion (the Frozen Throne) and 4 manuals: a base manual for each game (although the base manual for the expansion is tiny), and a quest manual for each game.
I reflect I would have loved this game had it been turnbased. But it is real time, and managing a group of warriors here, your workers there, your buildings somewhere else, another group of warriors in another place again all in real time is a huge toll on me. Ok, there are hot keys (to switch among groups of units) that make your life simpler, but it is still dull to have to care for so many things at once.
I bunged playing this game very soon.

I bought this pack so I could play DOTA onlien with friends. Soon, but, I tried out the original, ‘play-as-packed’ version of the game. I found it a bit dull…
Play DOTA!!!

Warcraft III and it’s expansion has many flaws in the tale, the missions, and even some of the units. When I mean flaws, I mean a TON of things were ripped out of Starcraft. Most of the Warcraft II’s units have returned. There are two new factions: the Undead Scourge and the Night Elves. The Undead Scourge resemble the Zerg from Starcraft. Just read the manuel and you’ll see how similiar they are. The way you build their buildings are similiar, you have to build it on the dead creep. A splendid thing about Starcraft is the incredible storyline and the characters that were introduced. The superb voice acting in fact made you care about the characters. Not the case with Warcraft III. You have to rely on your heroes too much. I didn’t reflect it was a excellent thought to implement RPG elements. When I played some of the missions, I could tell I had done it all before in another game. In one mission in The Frozen Throne, it resembled a mission from Brood War PERFECTLY. You had to ruin an enemy base while the enemy was idle for a few minutes. Brood War’s version was simpler and I was mandatory to use cheats on The Frozen Throne’s version.
Personnaly, I reflect Starcraft is a better game just for the fact that Warcraft III is simply the fantasy version Starcraft in 3D(graphics are awesome, by the way. Excellent for customs) and plus it came with Humans and Orcs.
