Take a splendid movie and give it a video game. Throw in all the splendid ancient monsters like Mr. Hyde, Dracula, and the Wolfman. Give him splendid weapons and what do you have? The makings of a splendid game. Now, how can you possibly mess that up? Somehow, they found a way.
Like the Daredevil game last year, Van Helsing has no save function. Instead, you must write down a password every time you want to restart the game. Why?? What’s the point of doing something so stupid? Why not just let the player save the game like 99 percent of the other GBA sports meeting out there? It’s just laziness and that’s all.
A lot of possibilities here, but they fail miserably with no save option. How stupid and what a dissipate.

This game isn’t excellent.Its not even decent.If your to bone idle to read my review not more than just read this: if your thinking about getting this game DONT. Instead get Super Mario, Street Fighter, Tony Hawk American Sk8land, Need For Alacrity Underground 2, or any other game besides this.

This game doesnt have a game save slot, instead the idiotic producers of this game make it so every time you beat a level theres a password you write down which makes the game low quality and unsatisfactory. There is but, a clean small 12 inch by 8 inch poster that comes packaged with the game.The poster shows a picture of Van Helsing from the movie. ( Hugh Jackman)
Graphics 4.5/10
How the game looks as well as technical issues like animation quality, texture design, and framerate:
Graphics aren’t that splendid.The enviroment is pretty bland with no real detail. The characters dont even have faces, just small skin colored blobs where the head should be.
Sound 4.5/10
This category tariff the quality of the sound effects and voice acting as well as the music in the game:
The music is plain out dreadful. Just the same dull music over and over. But, when you shoot your pistol the gunshot sounds fantastic.
Gameplay 3.5/10

The controls are pretty simple, and this game isnt that fun.I played it for like a half hour the first time I got it, I didnt get anywhere and its not fun at all. I cant clarify how terrible this is.

There is not anything here that convinces me to want to play again. I despise this game so much I didnt even look to see if there was multiplayer.There are no mini sports meeting or anything to unlock I dont reflect. If this information is incorrect I apoligize but this game is so terrible I dont want to go back and check.Also its a pretty hard game, even on http://www.ign.com they said its hard.

If your even doubting this game why get it??? There are many better titles for the Game Boy Advance. Or if you have the cash, trade this game ( if you bought it already ) and your Game Boy Advance in a game shop and get a nintendo DS.
