I’m going to buy it based on the first game. I have the first game on the PS. It is awsome! The grapics are splendid, the music goes with the settings and Ty ( the main character is a splendid kung-fu fighter for a tiger) I would recommend this game for boys mostly. For tom boys, you might delight in the game. There are pros and cons though.
Pros:
splendid music
splendid graphics
splendid focus as it should
keeps you busy for hours
something like Morat Combat but only with animals
Cons:
one player only
Some over all, if you have “ty the warth of the tiger” and you like it you might like this. If you like kung-fu and that kind of stuff you will like this game. As soon as it come out I’m getting it on GBA and PS2!

Considering how I’ve been spending alot of my free time playing platformers; like the newer Spyro sports meeting and Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty’s Revenge, I was a bit surpised to see Ty the Tasmanian Tiger for the the Gameboy Advance. I’ve played the Ty sports meeting on the console systems and like them. Yet, I’ll admit- I was a bit skeptical that Ty would translate well onto the GBA. Much like the way I felt with the GBA Crash Bandicoot sports meeting. Yet, out of curiosity; I got Bush Rescue(as well as Night of the Quinkan, look for my review on that game as well). And, like the GBA Crash Bandicoot sports meeting, I was pleasantly surprised to see that Ty translated brilliantly onto the handheld. The tale tells that Boss Cass was sent off to jail but rescued by a rival group of lizards. It’s your mission to once again stop the evil Boss Cass and his menacing Uber Reptiles from destroying the world. For the most part, Bush Rescue adheres strictly to the console versions’ tale as told owing to stills taken directly from the console versions of the game. But, when you talk with characters in the game, you’ll see the text appear with hand-drawn character models unique to this version. What impresses me the most with this game is how the character models are pre-rendered 3D characters reminiscent of the console versions and look really impressive. Animation is exact as well…for example,if you see Ty running, his hair will wave while he runs about. Gameplay in Bush Rescue is pretty standard platform play but certainly worth sinking a small bit of time into. You can dispose of enemies with Ty’s handy boomerangs, which can be upgraded as you progress owing to the game. You’ll be able to take control of many mechs which give you the ability to blast things away and you’ll also take control of many air and land vehicles as well. Levels (which are transplanted from the console versions) are large which means lots of exploring.
Other than it being a tad simple for a experienced person like me to play owing to, Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue is a splendid platformer that’s worthy of your time. I really loved it and I’m sure you will, too.

*This is my first encounter with Ty the Tasmanian Tiger sports meeting, and I say this game is splendid! The sound is really excellent and the graphics are pretty excellent. Some parts get frustrating and you just want to turn it off, but when you try one more time, you unlock new levels or learn a new hidden tunnel to opals. Why, does Ty have to get liscenses to use bunnyips? That sucks! Well, to all you new Ty fans, certainly give Ty 2 a chance!!*
