I only gave it one star because you can’t rate a 0. This game was aweful! It sucked!

This game is not like the arcade version. The bullets run out too quickly and the game play is repetitive. The scene makes you feel like you’re walking around in circles. The game is BORING to play.

I recently selected up this game, and I find it to be a lot of fun and addicting. Yeah it’s unadorned, so if you are a hard core gamer you’ll probably get bored, come over here and criticize it, but it’s fun. I haven’t gone owing to the entire game as of this posting, but so far it’s cool. I LOVE Resident Evil 4, and I’m certainly not comparing this game to RE4, but the game does kinda leave that “suspenseful”, “blowing off android’s heads” taste in your mouth.
The only things that’s kinda “ehh” is that you can’t control your guy’s movement, the computer decides which way to go, but you can choose to either go left or right when you come to a fork in the road. All you are in charge of is shooting zombies and items, and reloading your ammo.
If you like this game, another game I have recently gotten that has a very similar feel to Touch the Dead is: Dementium: The Ward . It also left a Resident Evil 4 taste in my mouth, and it’s like a more advanced version of Touch the Dead – danger lurks around every corner, you shoot ‘zombies’, solve puzzles. And last but not least, try Resident Evil 4 if you’ve never played it (it’s not for the DS).

Touch the dead is a rail system game; meaning you don’t control the characters movement, or where he walks to, it automatically just goes there and all you have to agonize about is where to shoot.
So the basic thought is some guy is stuck in a city where zombies are running rampant, and your job is blow every one of them away. For a DS game, a lot of other reviewers have complained about graphics, but I thought they where ok, it reminded me of Duke Nukem 3D with the sprites graphics. Basically all you do is click where you wanna shoot, and drag bullets to your icon to reload. You start off with a pistol/hand gun/revolver, but as you progress there is a crowbar, shotgun and machine gun to find too.
I guess I did not have the patience some did to end the game without cheating, but I got kind of penetrate dieing, and didn’t really feel like effective out the approach, so I used a code that allows you to unlock everything and run around in god mode (impregnable) that code is done on the main menu screen, you just press X, Y, Right, Left X and you will hear a android moan. Then you can just choose god mode and have all the weapons with infinite ammo. (still have to reload tho) and press brilliant to end the stage now.
By and large tho, the game only has 4 levels with about 4 or 5 sections to each level. You could maybe complete this game in just a couple of hours, maybe less, but by and large, once I had completed the game, I don’t reflect it will be any time soon that I will going back to it to play it all over again, as not anything ever changes, the stages are always the same, and the zombies always appear and do the same thing every time.

By no means is this game pretty. the graphics are pretty gruesome, yes its handheld, but still not anything to get excited about. The sound is not anything special at some parts its just atrocious. It does tend to be hard at times, but i like this game. It is asinine zombies killing fun. Considering that there is a honest lack of violent gorey game for the ds, if you are in a sensless killing mood this game suffices nicely.
Bottomline, not a pretty game, it wont win any awards, its dirty, but its fun, unadorned fun.
