The ubiquitous Lara Croft is back. After multiple appearances on the PlayStation, the aging icon is back to face her “last revelation” before moving on to the PlayStation2. This installment has everything that earlier Tomb Raider sports meeting had: physical puzzles, a sufficient arsenal, and lots of exploration, but this time in Egypt.
Lara returns with her ancient slate of moves plus a few new ones. She can climb, crawl, dangle, swing from ropes, and leap. Revolvers, crossbows, and Uzis are Lara’s weapons of choice, and she can combine these with ammo she picks up by the side of the way. Lara also will take control of speedy vehicles for some sweat- wrenching chases owing to the desert.
The tale reveals Lara’s roots as a young protégé of Professor Werner Von Croy. A training level puts players in the role of a pigtailed outcome Croft, getting newcomers accustomed to the controls, after which Lara regains her distinctly grown-up form. While Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation doesn’t do much that’s new, the ancient formula works well, although the pace still might be a small too slow for action fans. –Robb Guido

You reflect that after 5 of the exact same sports meeting were released (only differance being the title, TR , TR2, TR3, TR4 AND SO ON) YOU WOULD REALLY THINK PEOPLE WOULD GET TIRED OF THEM, I KNOW I DID. THE AMAZING THING IS THEY NEVER CHANGE I SEE NO DIFFERANCE IN ALL THE GAMES AND THERE ALL BAD. I WWOULD NOT GET THIS TIRED GAME. Try something new and better like Indiana Jones.

This game was just…. how can I say… TERRIBLE! The onlydecent TR was TR2! The series just got ancient after that. This gamedoesn’t even deserve 1 star! I would give it 0 if I could! Stay away from this one at all costs!

This is a very exciting game, the only thing is i did not really want to review the game. I just needed some help. I dont know whether there’s something incorrect with my game or if there is a secret I just don’t know about. I can’t get passed the second screen where the Egyptian sets fire after I open the gate for him. If somebody could comeback I would appreciate it.
It is but a splendid adventure.

ATTENTION: Most, if not all, of the reviews you have read are from people who have not played the last third of the game…the last third really blows. Earlier in the game, there are some really innovative thoughts, such as a level that takes place on a moving train, creatures that can only be killed by water, etc., but there is zero imagination once you get to the pyramids levels. The ending is not in the slightest bit challenging and is completely anticlimactic–there isn’t even a final boss! Wait until TLR goes into the bargain bin by the side of with the rest of series if you really need to play it. Otherwise, just buy Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater…tons more fun for your cash…

TR:TLR IS A GREAT ADDITION TO THE FIRST THREE. IT IS MUCH MORE DIFFICULT ARE VERY INTERESTING. LARA CAN DO MANY MORE THINGS ON THIS ONE THAN THE OTHERS. SHE CAN CLIMB POLS SWING ON ROAPS ETC. I’D ROCCOMEND THIS GAME FOR EVERYONE.
