I tried the demo and I’m impressed! I reflect they used TR Legend graphic engine so it wasn’t probably that hard to remake it. But I reflect they should have waited and optimized it exclusively for PS3. By using PS3’s raw potential, it could’ve been better IMHO. If you are fan of the series, do not miss this!

When I bought ‘Tomb Raider Anniversary’ for Windows I was really excited, but when I installed it on my computer (Windows XP) my smile turned upside down. The game didn’t work properly, it was glitchy, the main menu for the game wouldn’t even show. All that was showed was a blank screen. That’s when I thought ok, I’m sticking to game console video sports meeting. And it was my first time trying out a PC game too…aswell as my last.

Too many tricks to figure out the game. The author needed to place in a save game button. The author will save the game but where he wants to save the game. Every new site requires a different trick to escape. You need help to complete this game the author gives no clues.

I was expecting splendid things for this game since Crystal Dynamics was the developer for this game and was responsible for the splendid Tomb Raider Legend that I really liked. I played and loved the game up until the Centaur boss level and after spending several days trying to figure out the go combo that would get rid of them, I gave up, and uninstalled the game. A few weeks later I reinstalled it, started at the beginning, and played right up to same level only to be frustrated again. I’ve played many a game recently, including Quake 4, Prey, Half Life 2, Half Life 2 Episode 1, Brothers in Arms-Road to Hill 30, and the splendid Tomb Raider Legend; all were fun and had frustrating moments as most sports meeting do, but those moments were eventually overcome, without the help of cheats or downloaded save sports meeting, and you nonstop on with the game. Not with this one though. I hear Crystal Dynamics has another Tomb Raider in the works. I hope they go back to Tomb Raider Legend for inspiration and dump no matter what they did incorrect with this one.

I don’t like sports meeting that end with a lot of four-letter-words. I in fact like the control system, I just don’t like the final levels where you are expected to die 10-15′000 times to accomplish a release jump
