Product Description
In 2001, Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero gave players the opportunity to tear up the highways of Tokyo. Now two years later, Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 adds the highways of Yokohama, Osaka and Nagoya, taking total road length to a monster 200 miles. All of it accurately modeled to look and feel just like modern Japan. For the first time in the series’ history, TXR3 uses real cars licensed from Japanese, North American and European car manufacturers.

It just does not compare with Gran Turismo, Burnout, Need For Alacrity – Hot Pursuit, Need For Alacrity – Underground. Slow play, unclear game rules – it’s just not fun!

I want to start my review by saying that I own nearly all the Tokyo Xtreme’s that have come out, from the dreamcast release 1, and 2 and PS2’s 0 and 3. I like the gameplay and you can say that this game hasn’t changed much from all theses versions. on this version, I was really looking for online play, which wasn’t there but basically I can do the same things I do on 3 as any other tokyo extreme I have. I have yet to beat one, they are endless which is excellent. you find alot of sports meeting that end quick which makes you really upset after paying $50 for it. but this game, with the other tokyo extreme’s that I have, I could have done away with it. not terrible for $20 but I could have used it somewhere else.

This game does everything the first one does and more. If you don’t have enough cash for the Need For Alacrity Underground, then go with this one. You wont be disappointed. Especially if you liked the first one and Zero.

The game is excellent for the cash. And it is an resolution copy of Quick & Furious sports meeting.
The customization is a huge wow. The graphics are splendid. The location of racing is dull after 2 hours of play. You only guide on the freeway. Didn’t have to much fun since the price for customization features weren’t worth it and you need to do alot of races and missions to get that cash to get mods for your car.
As an alternative, I recommend getting Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition. You can’t go incorrect with Midnight Club. If you don’t like Midnight Club, then you are not a right racing fan.
Bottom Line: Get the game cheap. Don’t pay over 15 bucks for this one.
