You lift your head up and check the wind conditions as you start to line up your shot. You check the space to the cup, and choose to change clubs–just then, your airplane hits a moment of turbulence and you’re jostled in your seat. With this software, you’re never too far from taking a game break.
You won’t confuse Tiger Woods with a top-level PC game but, even with 2-D graphics, the animation is clear and bright. You’re given three PGA tour courses and, once you get the hang of it, it’s splendid fun to work out every swing. (For hard-core golf fans, the courses include Summerlin, Sawgrass, and the Badlands Golf Club.)
The software works with Palm Qualified, Palm III, PalmIIIx, PalmV, PalmVII–even IBM Wordpad, Windows 95 or 98, and a Mac 7.5.3 or higher.
