I don’t know why they felt a need to customize the golfer, right down to the size of the golfer’s nostrils! It seems like an dreadful dissipate of programming and unnecessary use of the computer’s resources. Why not increase the graphics which were better in TW 2003? Tiger Woods 2003 is a much better game and more realistic. TW 2003 application was 4.1 MB’s and 2005 is 7.8 MB’s. Who cares about the size of a golfer’s head, ears, eyes, nose, mouth, etc.? The graphics in TW 2003 were much better than TW 2005!

The game started off slow, but as you improved your game it became more challenging and fun. I wasn’t sure the graphics were as nice as the grown-up version but again, I was proven incorrect. The by and large play of the game is splendid yet I will still like to see them come up with the 2007 version for MAC

Make an avatar to represent yourself. Give it clothes, equipment, a set of skills, and even a facial expression. Then set out to defeat a succession of increasingly challenging opponents at increasingly hard levels over increasingly rough terrain.
That sounds like the formula for any number of computerized combat sports meeting, and it is. Here, though, when you meet your ultimate opponent it is Tiger Woods. Tiger hardly fits into any kind of terrible guy role, and that’s part of the conundrum with this game. It doesn’t seem to be sure whether it wants to be a golf simulation or a multi-level comuter game. It’s a negotiate, which means it is not really at its best in either role.
I came to the 2005 edition (still the latest available for a Mac) from the 2003 version on a PC. The 2005 version offers vastly improved graphics, better opportunities to increase your skills, and a host of colorful first-level opponents. Taking on its challenges can be a lot of fun. When you reach the level where you play against contemporary PGA pros, the program flawlessly duplicates the unique swings of Jim Furyk and John Daly.
If you’re honest about mastering the game, though, you might be more pleased with an grown-up edition (and the 2003 game has a better selection of courses).

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005 for Mac simply doesn’t work. It bunged effective a mere few months after its early release when Apple’s QuickTime bunged at the bottom of a feature/function used by the game. Aspyr knows about this conundrum. Their tech support team even knows about the conundrum. You would presume Aspyr would issue a recall, refunds, or least a statement to the public. Unfortunately, they continue to sell this game everywhere Mac sports meeting are available. People, like me, have bought this game and still have not experienced any gameplay. Class action lawsuit, anyone?
Let me do again: this game will NOT work on any Mac. Do not buy it. This product should not be listed on Amazon.
