This is a splendid wheel for the ps3. I have burnout paradise, blur, split second, need for alacrity shift, and motorstorm. It works splendid with all of them. It has a feature to where you can map any of the buttons to different buttons. The gas pedal is automatically mapped to the R2 button as the brake button is automatically mapped to the L2 button by default. It has different sensitivity settings and a splendid feel as well as button residency. I also have the logitech gt wheel which is also a splendid wheel but I find myself using this wheel more. Mainly because it works on all racing sports meeting, the gt wheel only works with some sports meeting. It doesn’t have force pointer which is the only real drawback I have to say about this wheel. I bought this wheel before I bought the gt wheel and I’m glad I did. I have never had any problems with this wheel so far, just make sure you plug it in before you turn on your ps3 with the wheel switched to the ps3 instead of pc. With that said I have plugged it in after I turned on my playstation in the middle of a game while paused and it still worked. By and large splendid wheel, very universal as far as compatablility with other sports meeting, and wheel and pedal unit just feels splendid while driving.

I bought this wheel with GT5 as a combo package for PS3 gaming.
First off it didn’t work with PS3 so I sent it back and they sent me the exact same product. This time there was a note saying I needed an extra adapter to make it work on PS3. I had to send a receipt proving I bought the thing. Four months after buying it, I could finally use it. Setup at first was unadorned enough. But now everytime I hook it up, it needs three or four rests, controller settings etc. before I’m off to the track. Now it has chose to randomly change controller settings DURING the races!
RUN AWAY FROM THIS WHEEL! And truthfully, I’m so disappointed, I doubt I’ll buy another brand to replace it. Another reason I’m SO glad I’m not spellbound with any of the gamiing. Lousy hardware like this makes it VERY difficulat to want to try.
