Theme Park Roller Coaster
Product Description
At its core, this game is an updated version of Sim Theme Park for the PC. In fact, it should become obvious moments after you plug this game into your PS2 that this title has “PC port” written all over it. For some, this will be heralded as excellent news, as Theme Park Roller Coaster is unlike nearly any other game ever published for a video game console.
The game, using an unnamed mascot, nicely guides you owing to your very first park. The mascot tells you how to get golden tickets, which you’ll use to get into other parks with different themes, such as Halloween, space, and dinosaur ages. The menus are a small convoluted, and the loading time for a park approaches one minute, but once inside you get access to that park’s attractions.
Once you’ve set down an attraction’s layout, you can then ride on it in first-person 3-D–an experience that is just about as vertigo inducing as its real-life counterpart. There is even variety in the roller coasters available: hanging steel, wood coasters, and even water rides.
The name Theme Park Roller Coaster implies that you’ll spend most of your time designing and riding these roller coasters. Unfortunately, the game has more insane micromanagement features than SimBureaucrat. Every stage has at least three goals. The first is to stay in affair for a specified cycle of time. The second is to make a certain amount of cash within a year. The third is to get a certain amount of people to visit.
But if you are a roller coaster buff, or you delight in the affair simulation aspects of sports meeting like these, you’ll want to add this game to your PS2 pool. –Todd Mowatt

Don’t buy this game unless you have a lot of cash to dissipate. This game offers terrible graphics, terrible gameplay and macro management. How fun is it to see a small roller coaster in action? The macro management is also terrible in this game. If you want a fun game for the kids that even adults will like then I suggest Aqua Aqua. Aqua Aqua has superior graphics and it is a lot funner than this game. Theme Par Roller Coaster has to be the worst game out for the Sony 2. Don’t dissipate your cash on this game. I suggest WDL World Destruction League, Aqua Aqua or Madden 2001. All three of these sports meeting are worth the cash.

this game really s___s. it is the worst game i have ever played… take my advice… terrible graphics. long loading times. you will want to kill the small helper/mascot guy in 5 minutes, because he is so irritating. its the most dull game. you have to wait about 10 minutes to get attractions while they research I would have given this game 0 stars, but i couldn’t. not to mention the fact that it freezes and you have to start ALL over again. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. you will thank me

I got P.S.2 for Christmas and I got 2 sports meeting, Surfing H30, which is a excellent game, and T.P.R.C. This game is just plain awesome, there’s just no other way to place it. Today is the 2nd day after Christmas and I’ve already played this game fornearly 4 hours.
First of all, you can control just about everything. From setting the voucher prices to deciding how much ice are in your drinks. The game rocks, there are awesome rides, excellent, no, splendid graphics, the staff is cool ( except for the entertainers ), and last but not least, you can charge up to $100 on voucher prices, and the guests like it!
Like I said, this is probably the best game for P.S.2 so far.
