I thought The Sims was a cool concept at first, then i realized what a time consuming bunch of nonsense it is. Making people and having a bit of fun for an hour or so to me is fine, but people are obsessed and sit in front of the computer playing this stupid game for hour upon hour, ignoring there families, friends and even WORK. ITS A GAME. make your real life, not a virtual one. I have not anything against thee game in person if you wanna play and have some fun for a small while, even small bits at a time. I played SIMS 2 and started to get a bit hooked so i said you know what this is worse than any drug, so i gave it up. Plus i just thing the whole thing is pretty lame. Word to the wise, game a bit, live a lot. Or get a life.

I haven’t bought either version of the game yet & am reading the reviews to help me on that. I’ve played both the Sims & The Sims 2 sports meeting with expansions and really loved all of them. My issues were always that the the First series of The Sims, even though rough had many different things to do. Your Sim went to the movie set, and worked. They went to the amusement park and went on rides. The vacations and the beach had add ons with the hotels an were fun. Even the sports meeting for Playstation 2 etc., you have motorcyles and bicycles and subways/subway stations etc. It would be cool if the Sims 2 or even The Sims 3 had work and school
interactions. Have a boss or co worker that ticks the sim off and instead of sending a messege at home that “your boss wants you to do something and make a choice, actuakky have the boss assign work etc and show what happens if your sims makes a terrible or excellent choice. At a school get bullied by a dopey bully on the school yard, in fact have interaction with a teacher when the grades go down etc. College would be more interactive in classes and the final exam.Have a running hospital, where the ambulance gets your sick or pregnant sim from their home, takes them to the hospital & what happens happens but there is interaction. In fact take your toddler to the park or restuarant (with high preside over included in restuarant to add to table) and let them cooperate instead of leaving them home. I do not know why the 60-80 minute free trial sports meeting offered at game sites offer more things to do and are so detailed and most times a new game comes out everyday, and The Sims sports meeting take a while to make but have so much less interaction with their work, school and shape situations. I will eventually buy The Sims 3, and all the expansions that will come with it, but in this economy, I do not “need” it now, but I know I will “want” it later. In the future, someome high up should make a choice to lower prices on ALL video sports meeting for All systems. There alot of sports meeting produced, and at the high prices there are alot of sports meeting still on store shelves. As with all items (that are not made with alo of cash to start with), lower the prices and get more buys. One question, I have all the Sims 2 expansions with game on my pc, for those who have The Sims 3…can it also be installed on my pc w/o a conundrum, or will there be loading issues because with sme of the reviews I will probably continue to play the Sims 2. Thanks:) I tried to place the review in the middle because that is probably how I will feel about this game.

I just loved sims 2. I was so excited to get sims 3. Until I saw the black figures while I was trying to make a sim. When I finished making my first sims, the person’s hairstyle was BALD. When I dug to find out what the black figures were all about, I learned that the sims 3 game was not supported for my mac because of some dumb chipset or something (GMA 950). How ridiculous is that!? My sims 2 plays just fine on this computer. So I have since returned it to Amazon. Oh … and the game was really really really slow compared to sims 2. When I tried to zoom in on my person, it took about 5 minutes. What a dog of an upgrade … nearly like an april fools joke – except it is not April 1.
