Please note this is an “expansion pack”. Bought this for my son, but he can’t use because he doesn’t have the starter pack, or original, or no matter what you need that starts the system. This expansion pack may be excellent or terrible, but we can’t use it until we find the original pack or return it – because it increases the price if we need another $35-40 software.

I bought this after christmas for myself (I am a college apprentice) and my sisters (twin 11-year-ancient girls) immediately fell in like with it. The difference in the amount of care that cats and dogs need is a excellent feature, because people who are less experience with the game (like my sisters) can have cat, while people like me, who are more experianced, can get a dog which requires more care. The addition of pets like the womrat are also splendid, especially since you can now name them which we were unable to do in the original sims. The ability to customize a dog or cat’s features is an awesome thought and it makes the game much more fascinating. There aren’t too many new objects but the ones they added are still excellent. By and large it’s a splendid expansion pack and I’m really glad that I got it because as a person who has been playing sims for nine years, it puts a small spice back into a game which has become way too simple for me, but is still simple enough for younger players.

I don’t play these video sports meeting but the person I bought it for likes it! Service was splendid and I received it in time to wrap it for Christmas, even though I ordered very late!

It’s a small harder to get going in Open for Affair than I expected. I own Sims and several expansions and I didn’t feel this one was as intuitive as the others to get started. Once I got going, it became simpler. It seems to take a while to earn badges and I wasn’t entirely sure at first how to earn them, but again, once I got going it wasn’t too terrible. Remember that if you open a affair on your home lot, LOCK the house doors so that customers are not coming in whenever they please (very irritating). Also remember to buy an Open/Closed sign or people will always be coming over. In my locality with 10 families, I only have 1 with a home affair. It’s taken time to figure it out, but it’s effective out. I wish there were a few more things I could do with the affair, but this is a clean dimension to add to the Sims.
