Firstly, I had this game for over a year before I could in fact get it WORKING. My first several tries were met with a series of errors that the customer support for the game couldn’t help me fix. It wasn’t until a few months ago that I tried to install it again that I was in fact able to get it effective… How I did it I’m not sure… I was just lucky and it chose to magically install without an error I guess…
Anyway I was finally able to play it at that point… The first conundrum with this game is load time… If you don’t have a quick computer you are going to be waiting for awhile… After that you have to figure out how to play… Out of all the Sims sports meeting I’ve played I’ve never had a harder time building a house as I did with this one… Unless you want to live without a roof you have to be very specific with your design so that “the house can support your roof”… It’s simpler to forget the building creation and just set up a premade house…
The largest conundrum I’ve always had with Sims sports meeting is that it doesn’t take but a week of playing to literally have done everything in the game… And that’s why there are so many expansions… You get tired of one game… Go buy the next $20 copy… And each expansion offers very small to make them worth buying… The make pleased should be downloadable, and it shouldn’t cost $20…
To be honest I despise this game. It gets ancient really quick, and playing it for longer than a few hours burns it’s image in my mind and gives me headaches. Some people jump all over Sims sports meeting as being the “greatest thought ever” but I seriously regret wasting the $40 or $50 I spent on it over a year ago. It’s lame, it’s dull, it’s repetitive, and there are better things to dissipate your time and cash on.

Product DID NOT work.
It was agreed to be exchanged, and when sent back there was no response from seller after SEVERAL attempts for communication.
Product never was exchanged….nor did I ever receive a refund.

After reading so many splendid reviews I was looking forwarded to playing this game. When I got it home it took nearly 30 minutes to load. Since my computer is groundbreaking new with lots of alacrity and memory this did not bode well. Once installed I found that, even with the tutorial and manual, the instructions were lacking.
The manual told me that I could order cuisine delivered to my sim’s house simply by calling. This option was not available to the sim I made. It also said that I could go to the store and by food. After spending most of my sim’s cash on food I found that I couldn’t take it home. So all I could do was order pizza.
I like that you have so much control over the sim’s actions. I do not like that I have to tell it to do everything. At one point my sim told me it was tired and wanted to go to bed. At least that is my thought from the picture of a bed that appeared in the thought balloon. So I told it to go to sleep. It laid down, got back up and again yelled at me that it was tired. After the fifth time it finally went to sleep. Then missed its ride to work and got fired. And There is the tilt and pan. I haven’t gotten that asinine since the tea cups at Disneyland.
If you are a control freak or just like sports meeting that require you to constantly be making decisions for your character this is the game for you. For me it just is way too much work. I didn’t have as much distress raising my son as I did controlling these sims.
I gave it 2 stars for fun because I loved the experience of figuring out the controls.
I gave it 2 stars by and large because it is well done but like I said way too much work.

The game won’t play on my computer. Book Mavericks have a 3 day guarantee and it was past that when I got the game, so they would not refund my cash and said they did not have a replacement to send. I tried to talk to EA sports meeting about the conundrum and they said the drivers on my computer were out dated, as that did not fix the conundrum either I’m just going to cut my losses and Garage sale the game sometime this summer.
