The Tale Continues:
Following his victory in the previous tournament, Jin Kazama has taken charge of the Mishima Zaibatsu and now possesses tyrannical ambitions. Using his resources within the organization to become a global superpower, he severs the Mishima Zaibatsu’s national ties and openly declares war against all nations. This action plunges the world into a chaotic spiral, with war erupting around the globe and even amidst the space colonies orbiting the planet. Kazuya Mishima, is aware of this and finds Jin’s interference in his own plans for global domination to be a nuisance. Now in charge of G Corporation (which was place under his command following a violent fury against the company’s heads), Kazuya is seen as the only force who could oppose Jin and places a bounty on Jin’s head for anyone who can capture him. In my opinion Tekken is the best game series that ever came out to the PlayStation 3 game system. But that is just my opinion.I reflect Namco took a huge leap of faith when they started to make Tekken 6. The reason why I say that is because I remember in some of the last Tekken sports meeting the graphics were not that excellent, the sound quality sucked and the game play was excellent for the past but now when we look back it sucked. But now Tekken 6 is finally out the best one out of them all. But there is something in this that just confuses me and pisses me off at the same time. Why did Namco make Tekken 6 the first official Tekken game on the contemporary Gen console available to the X Box 360? That really made me mad to find that out, it seems like Microsoft is getting mad that Sony is getting all the excellent sports meeting so now there trying to get them to. that is my opinion but let me not get out of hand. OK on to the review.
The bundles are splendid. I Pre-Ordered the Tekken 6 Limited Edition with the fight stick and got 1 day shipping because I like the Tekken sports meeting so much and let me say this one thing it is the best $147.97 I spent in my life. I just loved it. The fight stick is incredible, light and is simple to use. The packaging just looks outstanding and unbelievable, and finally the extra make pleased book is just out of this world. i was blown back from being surprised at what came in the limited edition, not to include the free voucher code, and the calendar. This was a very excellent price for a game bundle like this.
The graphics are just incredible. I am not saying this to just be saying this. I really mean the graphics are incredible when I say “the graphics are incredible.” This has to be one of the top 20 sports meeting that came out for the PlayStation 3 with the best graphics. The graphics look so real and they make you feel like your in the game in fact fighting. YES!!!!!! That is how excellent they are, and I am not lying. This is a really huge jump from the Tekken sports meeting on the PlayStation 1. Excellent job Namco.
The sound quality for this game is outstanding. i like the music selection they place in the game. I don’t know if you guys feel this to but, when i play it and I here that theme song it makes me feel like I am in the game. I don’t know I may be crazy. But this game features over 20 songs that you can hear when you are fighting someone and when you are in the Tekken Force Mode. I’ll clarify that later. Another thing I like about the sound is that it lets you play songs that are already on your PlayStation3. That is just wonderful.
The game play is the best part of the game obviously.The game play in this game features 6 game modes that you can pick from. I will briefly clarify all the 6 modes now. In Arcade you get to pick a character and play as him/she and you get to get a chance to see there tale unfold. In Practice mode well… all you do is practice with the character of your choice nd you get to experience more. In Ghost Battle you pick a character and get to pick which opponents you want to fight according to there rank (all opponents in Ghost Battle are fake). In Survival mode you pick your character and you fight the computer until you die (hopefully you pick your favorite character @(=^_^=)@). In Online mode you well… fight online against other people in the world. This is a excellent chance to see how excellent you really are. Finally Last but not least the best part of the game Tekken Force mode. In this mode you can either do it online ( co-op) or offline release player. This is basically the part of Tekken 6 where you get to walk around and fight enemies with a friend or by yourself. its all your option. Also in this mode is kind of like the main tale mode so your not just killing people your doing a actual tale in Tekken 6. other than that the game play is very quick and exciting, and it just pumps me up all the time.
The controls of this game vary. I say that because unlike most sports meeting where the controls are the same in this game the controls are different for every character. But the basic moves like punch right, punch left, kick right, and kick left are just Triangle, X, Circle, and Square. But when you want to learn combos and juggles you have to look at the go list. Other than that the controls are excellent.
Finally last but not least and my favorite part of my sports meeting. Yes!!!! You guessed right the trophies. The trophies in this game aren’t that hard to get. Even though I don’t have all of them yet I just looked them over and they look mighty fine simple to get. I am just confused if this game has a platinum trophy or not because the first trophy is just ??? so I don’t know if this game has a platinum trophy. But I don’t reflect its that hard to get 100% in the trophies in this game it in fact look simple. Just don’t give up.
To conclude I recommend this game to EVERYONE with a PlayStation 3 and EVERYONE looking to play a excellent, fun, lasting, enjoyable game. I couldn’t give it a exact score because they released it on the X Box 360 and this is a official Sony game that’ just my opinion. Sorry guys =(

I pre ordered this. I’m not that huge of a fan of Tekken but I needed a Joystick for my PS3 and I figured that the Madcatz joystick was $80 at the time so if I bought this it would be a decent deal. The controler NEVER worked properly. The wireless controller is not a built in wireless controller but rather it has a receiver that yo plug into the USB port of the PS3. I NEVER got a regular connection. The controller would connect and I would be able to go the joystick but as soon as I hard-pressed a button, it would disconnect. The controller is garbage! The game is a Tekken game and you either despise it or like it. I just happen to despise Tekken. I keep thinking it might be excellent, then I play it and disappointment ensues.

I bought this bundle because comes two vital things, the game and the joystick.
I have played Tekken series since Tekken 3
I played Tekken Tag
Tekken 4 was a mistake by namco
Tekken 5 pretty excellent(I have not played Tekken DR yet)
And the last of Tekken series by now Tekken 6
But every time that I play Tekken 6 I get tired and frustating but is not the game is the Joystick, as I said before I have played Tekken since ~1999 I have played on arcade and PAD(well the arcades versions with the time was terrible because I live in South America the paradise of not anything you know) I thought that the Joystick was decent but I can’t play in Left side AKA P1 I’m Mishima player and I can’t do not anything in P1 side in the P2 side I’m fine(well not at all but isn’t frustating) I reflect there is a trick, so much much practice…
I just play for fun and now I reflect before to play, I’m going to give another oportunity to the Joystick although I reflect that the Joystick isn’t not excellent for PRO players

Tekken 6 is probably the best in the series so far. It has nearly everything you want from a fighting game: lots of characters , lots of modes to play and the graphics in fighting game ever ( I’m so surprised that some people say that the graphics are dreadful or that it’s not better than the legendary Soul Calibur IV ) Tekken & Soul Calibur have always been my two favorite fighting sports meeting and fortunately I liked the game a lot. The only terrible about the game is the online mode which I was very disappointed from it. It’s very laggy and it’s hard to play a excellent match because of that.
so my by and large score for Tekken 6 is 9.0 / 10
Now the “Limited Edition”
The fighting stick is excellent and also wireless which makes even better. I don’t know if it’s the best or not since it’s my first fighting stick. also it works on the PC.
There’s in fact noting special in the limited edition and with the original price it’s a complete robbery but I know Amazon’s Legendary Price I couldn’t resist buying it.
so my by and large score for the limited edition is 6.5 / 10
but with Amazon’s Price 10/10 because it’s nearly half the original price and if you’re a Tekken fan you really can’t let this one pass you

As far as the game goes, it was as expected. I skipped Tekken 5, so this was a nice jump from Tekken 4. The online play although has a slight lag, it pretty excellent, especially if you can find players with a quick connection. It takes a while to sync, but its really nice to play against other players and learn from their fighting stylishness.
The joystick in fact started to malfunction about a month into owning it. They X button would get sticky and after a while some of the buttons would not register every now and then. I emailed HORI even though it was technically a few days past the warranty. After a few e-mails, I was told to send the joystick in (with my own shipping) and a few days later I received a new controller that seems to be effective just fine. When it was effective, the joystick was pretty excellent. Not any noticable lag unless playing online. I wish the buttons and the stick were a small bit firmer, but it gets the job done.
For 80 buck, it is an awesome deal. At 150, it seems there are better joysticks out there and you can often find the game on sale to make the total buy about the same.
