The Tale Continues:
Following his victory in the previous tournament, Jin Kazama has taken charge of the Mishima Zaibatsu and now possesses tyrannical ambitions. Using his resources within the organization to become a global superpower, he severs the Mishima Zaibatsu’s national ties and openly declares war against all nations. This action plunges the world into a chaotic spiral, with war erupting around the globe and even amidst the space colonies orbiting the planet. Kazuya Mishima, is aware of this and finds Jin’s interference in his own plans for global domination to be a nuisance. Now in charge of G Corporation (which was place under his command following a violent fury against the company’s heads), Kazuya is seen as the only force who could oppose Jin and places a bounty on Jin’s head for anyone who can capture him. Jin’s response is to announce The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6 in order to battle Kazuya and crush G Corporation.

I just bought this game today and I couldnt wait to get home to play it. What a disapointment and let down this game is.I know fighting sports meeting shouldnt be simple but when are they going to release a fighting game that isnt fake. First of all when fighting the computer, the AI characters block everything you dish out,the juggle combos are to much, you cant even fall on the ground before getting half your life taken away from a juggle combo.Most of my favorite characters are now lame, the last guy is a joke.I had to stop playing before I smashed my controller.The only excellent thing about this game is the graphics and sound, other than that you might as well take the $[...] and wipe with it.

This game is the worst sports meeting I have ever played so far. Some of the new characters are terrible, for example, Lars is a cross between Goku and M. Bison…. yeah and I’m not joking. The Senario Campaign should not exist as well and they should stick with the excellent ancient fighting, and the boss is cheap as hell.
I hope for the next game that they would not carry with this nonsense and stick with the fighting.

What I despise about this game is the “Scenario campaign”. This is basically Tekken Force, or The Devil Within from the last sports meeting. This time it’s not just a side game though, It’s the main game you have to play if you play solo. If you liked the individual tales for each of the characters, be prepared to be disappointed. They’re still in the game but you have to play owing to this Tekken force sort of mini game to unlock them. (Which isn’t all that fun). The tales themselves have been heavily dumbed down (Opening cards are small, no vocal narration, small cut scenes that clarify next to not anything about the tale) and the rival interaction scenes that Tekken 5 introduced have not been included in the tale mode.
In terms of gameplay Tekken 6 doesn’t really introduce anything. It plays just like Tekken 5. The characters have the same default outfits, the same win quotes/posses and the same moves for the most part. That’s not terrible, because Tekken 5 was a splendid game, but I just wish there was more there.
I would have to give this game a 6.5/10 for the online, but a 3/10 for the release player game. You can get this, but I would suggest waiting for the price to go down. It just isn’t worth it.

Tekken 6 added an GPG game over the unadorned VS mode. But, the RPG design is very poor, especially compare to the existing RPG game on the market now.
Also Tekken try to make the fighters more 3D, but some of the face appears too artificial, or should say, urgly.

This game is a splendid and enjoyable fighting game just like the other Tekken sports meeting. But I had high expectations for this game because I had to wait so long for it to be released. In my opinion this game should have came out at least 2 years ago since it was in development for at least four years. I was really hoping to see a one player friendly versus mode like Soul Calibur 4 and Street Fighter 4 have. It turns out that you can only access the versus mode with another controller and you can’t fight any computer opponent that you want at any time. I also thought that a computer vs. computer mode would also be nice but was lacking. But what I really wanted to have happen was to have a make your own character mode like in Soul Calibur 4. This would have been worth the long wait if it was place into the game. Being able to edit the existing characters is splendid and the depth of it especially in the scenario campaign mode is deep(similar to Soul Calibur 4 in some ways). There are at least 40 characters in the game. The fighting is very deep and there are a lot more combos to try to learn which is a splendid thing and should add lots of replay regard to the game. The final boss is very cheap just like in other fighting sports meeting. He has these long range attacks that are hard to block and he is just too powerful by and large. The scenario campaign mode is pretty cool too. I reflect it would have been better if ALL of the characters spar in English but. The game also has a custom soundtrack feature which I thought was splendid and rare for a PS3 game. Just push the PS button lightly and then go to the music section and you should be able to access it. This is still a splendid game that all fighting game fans should at least try out.
