Let’s face it if this is the best the Wii has to offer they are in for a sad year. The graphics are terrible and the gameplay is choppy. I wasn’t impressed with a lot of the characters and the fights get dull quickly. No competition for either Xbox360 or PS3.

I want to point out that I don’t in fact own this game. I played it a friend’s house.
The controls in this game are terrible(or maybe it’s just the GC controller). I had distress playing against someone that I would normally exact in any other Capcom Vs. game.
Frank “The Splendid” West IS the worst character in the game, which is really disappointing. His attacks are incredibly slow compared to pretty much everyone on the roster; Viewtiful Joe, another awesome character, has a dull un-original movelist, such an innovative character had a horrible transition to this game.. and for those reason I’m rating this one-star. Ryu doesn’t suck for once which is excellent, but even he suffers from the terrible control layout — I mistakenly sweep when I want to go a launcher. Also, I don’t know much about Tatsunoko, but it would’ve been nice to have Alacrity Racer as a playable character. He’s one of the few Tatsunoko characters known in the US.
The storyline is non-existant, in this era where there are sports meeting like Mass Effect 2 and Bioshock this is un-acceptable. This game also lacks quite a few features outside of Fighting.. making it seem “thrown together”.
The American version seems to lack “character themes” and the anime custcenes in the original, which takes away from the whole anime crossover thing.
Maybe if this was on a console that didn’t have such limitations this could have been as excellent as Street Fighter 4 or Tekken 6.
Also.. where’s the REAL Ken?

Its a excellent Street Fighter Stylishness game, excellent playabilit but lack of history, I beleive that by now the endings of the sports meeting should be a small more interactives, at least place videos… Too simple and its a game that it would not take you more than 2 hours to complete…

First of all I have to say that I have this and the japanese version, but I have to say the japanese version is far better than this one.
Excellent.
This version has excellent graphics, nice characters, impressive powers, english menu and is nice to fight.
Terrible.
Really terrible online fighting, there’s no lag in the fight, but is slow finding someone to fight, and is a pretty lame wait 5 minutes for a fight. I am a fanatic of online playing, because I can see my level, but is really slow the process. Besides, the difficulty level is a joke, the toughest is like novice in the japanese version. I am not precisely a master in fight, but getting 50 fights in survival is not normal I quit because is was dull. For example, I got 17 when I was playing in a excellent level in the other version .
This game is incredible, I really like it, but this is not a improvement. I recommend you; try to find the japanese version and delight in it. If you cannot, well buy it and delight in it for some hours.
