I had a wack of fun with this game. If you end all the songs and all the unlocked songs you can still use the sticks for other things – just use your imagination. I jammed a dialogue box open with one and chased my dog with the other.
WARNING – don’t try to use them as chop sticks they are too stout and will leave the smell of sweet n sour sauce on them enticing them to be chewed by mad dogs sick of being chased.
Back to the game. I’m a excellent drummer. I can bang out the into to “we’re not going to take it” simple – sneasy with just two pencils and a flat surface. That being said, I quickly made minced meat out of the simple level. Moving up to the normal level was another tale. The circles come at you hard n quick. Quicker than Joe’s cat if you know what I mean. Quicker than Joe that’s for sure. Don’t get me started on things that are quicker that Joe. Here’s a few I’ve thought of:
1) those bugs with A GAZILLION legs
2) a really excellent typer
3) my mom’s car
4) clouds in one of those time lapse films where they show you a flower opening or something
I could go on if I didn’t have so many OTHER Joe things to talk about. He used to like Metallica in high school. He pretend now to listen to only really cool stuff (when I first met him he was wearing a KMFDM tshirt) but one time we were at a bar we ran into someone who he knew from high school and I distinctly heard the words “you still listen to Metallica?” Speaking of bars, if you like finishing off someones drink who takes to long to end then Joe is your man. The only way you can get him to drink up quicker is to start singing some excellent drinking songs. Especially english sounding ones. Joe likes all stuff england. He likes saying Oi and stuff. I’m pretty sure he didn’t grow up there though on account of running into that Metallica guy who didn’t seem very english. Plus – I doubt the villagers of Winona would allow a non-Canadian to be their Duke.

Well.. 1st off, bought this as a xmas gift. It looked fun, reviews looked splendid and all. But.. 1st off.. was there is a lack of songs. I mean wouldve been nice had there been more songs in this.
I mean the stylishness of it is ok as you hit the sides or dead center on left or right to work the game.
Sure its fun to play and all. But when you played too much DDR and knew what to expect from that and hoped this wouldve been similar, youll be upset because its not.
The one thing that IS fun are the mini sports meeting. Play this with 2 people and thats where its fun, but the songs itself, not really. It isnt that hard and thats what makes it sad, thought this wouldve tought you how to drum some and not just how to beat the stick. =/
By and large a kid would like it, but if your in the 20s and played enough DDR and still do, you probably will find out you wasted your cash. =/
