Don’t take this as an official review of the game, because it hasn’t been released yet.
The reason I’m writing this is exactly, because of the release date. According to Amazon they have it in and ready to ship within 1-2 weeks, but the fact is… the game isn’t out until October at the earliest. I’m really starting to question how and if Amazon even keeps track of these things.
For an unsuspecting consumer this might become frustrating and I find it unfair that they would do this to their customers. Either change the date Amazon or don’t place up the game at all until a month before shipping. At least be honest to your customers.

I am disappointed in Amazon. It has been a month and i still haven’t received the game yet. It usually doesn’t take this long for a shipment to come owing to. Can i please get my game or my cash back. I bought the game for a coworkers kid for pulling up his grades in school and he still hasn’t had the chance to play it.

Well, they finally place this game out and I couldn’t wait to get it. It was delayed for quite some time. I rushed home to play it. What a disapointment. This game is has the exact same engine as Spider Man 2 for PS2. I remember how much i despised that game too. The controls in this game are terrible. Mostly when you are in flight. The take off and landing is really irritating. The worst part about it is the music…you will not find the John Williams Theme anywhere in this game. That score defines what superman is. So, much so that they used it in the movie, but what about the game. Free roam in this game is non existent. Every 2 minutes there is some pointless mission to go on. You will never have time to take all the injured people to the ambulance. I have played for about 2 hours and I am at 40% completion. I will tell everyone i know that this game is terrible. Rockstar should have taken the reigns on this one. If you get the rights to what could potentially be a really sweet game and really ruin it, than you should get out of the game design affair, FAST!!!!!!! Throw this game in the pile of the other crappy Superman titles. Sorry, Superman you saved alot of people, but apparently they(game designers) didn’t care much about you.

Too much cash, it carries the name of the movie, but has absolutely no make pleased from the movie excepts 5 minutes worth of game clips. Non-interactive. You fight the same enemies over and over again. Side missions are impossible when you are constantly dragged into fights with crappy enemies. Combos are not the simplest or most reliable. Find someone who bought it give them 2 bucks and borrow it for the 5 hours worth of gameplay.
