This product is the best. I never saw anything like thing product before. It really was a splendid thought for two sports meeting in one system. You have to buy this, you won’t regret it. I promise.

The SNES is very likely the greatest video game system ever released, and this is a redesign that simply made the system more compact. If you are looking for a classic game system with tons of wonderful sports meeting, you cannot go incorrect with the SNES.
One reason that this redesign is so brilliant is the fact that it can be used to make a portable system with relative ease (thanks to help from Ben Heckendorn’s book, Hacking Video Game Consoles.)

The 1995 mini super nes. system model # SNS-101 is a awesome machine, more slim line and compact then the ORIGINAL super nes. system debut in 1991.It displays splendid graphic’s and awesome sterio sound. It only plays super nintendo sports meeting it’s not a FC TWIN system. It’s a very nice machine and still effective after 13 years. I would call it a collector’s item. TRIVIA: The super nes. system has a Super Game Boy Adapter that lets you play all your Game Boy Sports meeting on the huge screen tv.

The redesign was released in North America in 1997, and was quickly cloned by pirate companies. According to the images on this item listing, they’re all fakes. Buyer beware: you’d be lucky to get the real deal, but the clone consoles are rather rare too. As far as compatibility goes, some fakes use a different region coding, but don’t use the physical region locking changes, so sports meeting may run at different speeds and those with cartridge based region locks may not work. The heat sync is also missing, making the console susceptable to overheating, and the connector for the cartidges is easily breakable, since the support screws aren’t in black and white long enough.
If you buy one of these, be sure to question the seller beforehand some specific questions. The fake ones are too soft-edged, while everything in black and white by Nintendo has a sharp edge, for shadowing effects. The best example is the part of the casing that says “super nintendo entertainment system”. It should be sharp-edged, raised, and in no place should it have a soft spot. The potential and reset buttons on the real one are a light purple, whereas the fakes use a dark purple, such as the image in the item description here. Another simple tell are the Nintendo marks. The one with the repair phone number on the fake will have a picture of Mario that doesn’t look nearly as detailed as those on legitimate Nintendo consoles. It may also have discoloration. The last clue on the exterior is the categorize on the bottom of the console. Nintendo’s are in black and white in a special font, and the potential ratings are in bold. The fakes use normal Times Roman, and do not have bold print on the potential ratings.
Be careful when you buy one, and be sure to question before you buy. The seller may not even know. I only rated this two stars because none of the images on the listing show official consoles.
