The first version of this game was missing something and it was the replay regard. Sure, you can get to play some mini-sports meeting, but after awhile, boredome comes to you. SMB2 has to be at least a small more funner than the original. At LEAST this version has a tale to it. Some eerie monkey called Terrible-Boon stole bananas? Anyway, the graphics look excellent, it has probably the same gameplay:Using the Control Stick to go the monkey in a ball towards the goal. This has to be a must-rent first like the original. It has some more sports meeting. It has the same one as the others except a sequel to it and some extras. I should be some fun, but rent it first to check it out!

This game is so corny, and cheap! When you first turn it on there is this giant monkey that uses a vacuum cleaner to suck up all of the bannannas out of the chimney! How terrible is that! Then when you start playing you reflect it is so simple, then when you beat a couple levels these mokey go inside these magical balls and do this eerie dance chanting “Blah Blah Blah, Eie Eie Poo! Ok, this is where the game is getting eerie. Then when you get to the third stage all of the sudden, the levels are nearly impossible! So you are stuck and you can’t play the game anymore. But in the 2 player mode it is kind of fun. But, after 5 minutes it get REALLY REALLY dull! This game is torture. Do not dissipate any cash on this game!!!! (Because its worth half of a cent!)

I just got this game abotu 2 days ago and it was a disappointment. It was just a monkey rolling around. You compete in small stages that only take about 2 minutes to complete. It

First of all, I got the depression that this game was the bomb, but when I finally rented it (thankfully) and not bought it, I realized that perhaps the reviews were really trying to say that this game IS a bomb. First of all, do not be deceived by the back of the box… it shows that you can play soccer and tennis and whatnot, but when you finally break open the celophane, carefully take the CD out, place it in your Gamecube, and turn it on, you come to find out that you have to aquire enough points to unlock all the better levels and sports meeting! What a rip-off!!! I like sports meeting with challenges, but this was a slap in the face to the buyer! Deceiving everyone that you can start right off and play the sports meeting you want to play. The game is cute and somewhat addictive, but I am glad that I will never buy it. I am practically irked that I paid $5.99 for the rental! I am sorry, but this game leads you off into deep waters and leaves you there to fend for yourself. I even browsed Action Replay for unlock codes, just so I can play the soccer and tennis sports meeting to see if I would at least buy it… but alas, there were none. As a matter of fact, the codes for Super Monkey Ball 2 didn’t even work! Stay clear away from this deceiving game. I am beginning to have second thoughts about my purchasing the Gamecube as well.
