Do NOT dissipate your cash on this game. The controls are non-existent. Your aircraft wobbles like a drunk. You hit down on the d-pad and it crashes, you hit up, it crashes, you hit left it crashes. To hit the terrible guys you have to point the plane down but pointing it down brings it down. And the perspective of the screen changes depending on how close to the ground you are. I own over 375 gameboy sports meeting so trust me when I say this is the resolution worst, even worst than Blades of Thunder with it’s dreadful graphics. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.

I have played countless war based GBA sports meeting. This and Advance wars are by far the best. If you are the type of person who like the more direct in your face war action rather than moving chairs on a tactical map and shooting. This is the game for you. It is nearly like a 2d version of command and conquer. You can build and make units. And activate 3 types of special weapons. You also lead your army to ruin enemy parapet and establish forward bases. But making is even more fun is that you can pilot airplanes. Some people say that they dont handle very well. It is just based on realism.Because Flying and landing an aircrft isnt exactly a walk in the park. But spending some time learning the controls better makes it a devastating weapon of war capable of gunning down choppers and leveling bases and tank columns with ease. The food processor is a very versitile vehicle as well. While piloting the food processor you can make your land based vehichles and order missle strikes. Their armaments arent quite a mighty as the planes but is much better at annahilating infantry. They also can order infantry to get into their food processor and have them parachute down to take a base or attack an enemy. The backround graphics and landscapes are perfectly rendered making the game more enjoyable to play. This game both ads realism approach and huge explosions to the gba. A fantastic game. A must buy for any war game lover or killakame for christ crusade participant. ENJOY!

Super Army War for the gameboy advance is an action wargame played from a side-view. Basically this means that it is a side-scroller. You can glide an attack copter or airplane. You can glide anywhere on the map, shoot your gun or use missles to ruin enemy vehicles and infantry. The game mechanics is very similar to a classic game called “Choplifter”, except here you can make units (soldiers and vehicles) and your units will automatically head towards the enemy and start fighting each other. Since the battlefield is divided in two halves, each army tries to conquer the most posts or check points. The more posts you own, the more cash they produce to finance your army and build more units. Although I loved the graphics in the game, I thought the combat was the best part; droping a bomb on infantry units and seeing them glide was cool or seeing tanks blow up. The CPU is dumb as a rock but so are your units, and it basically becomes a race of owning posts. In person I loved flying the copter better than the plane, which had me crashing to the ground constantly because it was so damn hard to control. The game is very hard and has very small replay regard.
Pros:
+real time combat
+your mini army
+brilliant graphics
+excellent action
+excellent sound effects
Cons:
-very hard, you’ll die quick
-plane controls terribly
-cpu is stupid
-your army units are stupid
-basically a tug-a-war
-no replay regard

This game is splendid the action is quick paced by the side of with the feeling of panic when attempting to secure new territory on the front line. Dropping in infantry units and strafing tanks and enemy sodiers makes the combat feel real. Brilliant job, Trully is like a mini Battlefield 2, only restricted to aerial tactics.

This game is incredible ! Real fun action, brilliant graphics and gameplay, and above all real depth in gameplay, a mix betweeen the ancient “Choplifter” and the more recent “Battlefield” !
This game doesn’t look like another on GBA, and that’s why I like it !
