My nearly 4-year ancient adores this game and caught on quickly, and while my 6-year ancient won’t admit Stuart Small 3 is better than Legos Star Wars (which is “cool” amongst his friends), he always picks Stuart Small. Even mom and dad like to have their turns at it and we’ve had to establish time limits so everyone gets a try. The visuals and graphics are splendid. We haven’t seen the movie but can only take upon yourself the levels take place in New York City: a garden-like park (called the garden), the Forest (Central Park, perhaps?), the street, the Lake, and the house. The only slightly irritating part is that Stuart has to collect a certain amount of flash orbs to take a picture and it’s hard finding enough orbs to take all the pictures in a level. Even if you don’t take all the pictures (the object of the game), it is fun just to venture around. Some of the races are a small hard to win as well. But adolescents and adults won’t be disappointed. We’re hooked!

I have Sonic Riders and all of Sonic and I like them. But this Stuart Small Game is more fun and more action and it is awesome. I was surprised when I got this game, but I like it better than Sponge Bob and Scooby Doo Sports meeting. I played this game for over 3 hours. It is my favorite game and I am going to get more of them. I was just 8 years ancient and this game if fun for even grown-up kids.

Having just bought the Sonic Riders, my grandson loved this game; but, he saw this picture advertised of Stuart Small and I got the game, and he played this game for 3 hours. He had two new Sponge Bob movies he set aside – he loved this game more than even Sonic and Shadow and it is an action game as well and so many different features, it was fun to watch, the art work was gorgeous and the colors, but this adorable small mouse and cat – riding in a heliocopter and small cars – it is absolutely adorable. When a small kid says “it is awesome” believe me, its worth a 1,000 words…and this game is awesome. I am sick of the violence and the viciousness of some of these sports meeting they are trying to push onto children……Marvel someday will the kids ever go back to Mickey Mouse or when Disney died – did Mickey and our children’s childhood go with him? This game is for kids from 4 to 50……everyone loved it, just watching my grandson was a treat….a return to just plain fun.

In a day and age where the majority of decent sports meeting have some sort of mature theme, it’s rare to see a game for kids that isn’t about tickling hippos and hopping over goo. Stuart Small 3: Huge Photo Adventure is a quality brood game, but it won’t appeal to anyone over the 10-year-ancient mark.
Stuart Small, the cute adopted mouse, has accidentally ruined his huge brother’s photo assignment and now it’s his job to run around The Huge Apple taking new photos. To do so, agony use various costumes, operate several vehicles, and participate in a few mini-sports meeting.
The game itself is very unadorned. The simple controls have Stuart’s jump button mapped to X and whenever another button needs to be pressed, a timely will tell you so. For example, speaking to another character requires Stuart to stand in a specific area and the player to press a specific button. It’s that unadorned.
Taking pictures isn’t as unadorned, and the process of taking one is where I found myself agitated with SL3. In order to take a photo, Stuart has to collect small orbs of light called “flashes” that are scattered around the game’s large areas. Flashes fill up Stuart’s “Flash meter” and only after what seems like a million of them are collected can Stuart take a release picture. I’d estimate that it took me five to fifteen minutes to find enough orbs to take a release picture, and then it was back to square one–you can easily see what most of the gameplay time is spent doing. SEGA might have wanted kids to explore the levels, and I know that, but it gets really ancient.
The levels in Stuart Small are littered with different mini-sports meeting. You can play mini-golf, race with hovercrafts and go-karts, and more. These are a excellent addition to the game because they serve as an attention-grabber when collecting orbs gets too irritating. The mini-golf is especially fun, but the swing and ball physics aren’t anything I’d call realistic. To open up different areas in each level, Stuart will have to use several different costumes, each with their own utilities. For example, Stuart’s Native American costume allows him to shoot arrows. His skateboarder furnish lets him skate around and do tricks and grind rails.
Stuart Small 3 has colorful, cute visuals that kids will delight in. They’re not super-realistic or anything; they’re very cartoonish. Some of the character models could have used some work–it looks like Snowball, the family’s cat, got hit in the face by a truck. His face looks very flat. Still, the game doesn’t look terrible. The sound is a different tale–I never felt that the music was appropriate for the levels, and the voice acting is off a small bit. Still, a kid won’t know the difference, and that’s what matters.
For $20, there isn’t a better children’s game on the market. Though it’s tedious to this 18-year-ancient gamer to collect small orbs of light to take a release photo, a outcome could and probably would really delight in the gameplay found here. It’s clean, harmless fun.

This is my first review on Amazon…and I have been a customer from the very beginning (when it was only books).
My 4 & 1/2 year ancient LOVES this game!! He is a Stuart Small fan..and has tried to play the Stuart Small 2 Game for the PSOne for a year now..and has now just gotten the hang of it. This Stuart Small 3 Game is PERFECT for him!! Graphics are excellent…sound effect are excellent…and game play is PERFECT!
There is a goal in the game to take pictures for a scheme Stuart ruined for George…but the best part is…there are HOURS of fun in this game even without staying with the main goal of the game! He can ride Quad Bikes, Skateboards, Blimps, Windsurfers, BMX Bikes, and Tanks…all by just going into the Garage to get them. You can also turn into a Fireman, Photographer, and wear the rain slicker. There are many surprises and things to do…even Mini Golf with Mr. Stout. The only thing I needed to help him with so far was a Quad Bike Race…which took me 3 times to win (remember…stick to the inside on the corners).
This game offer so much for a young player. My son likes Lego Star Wars, and any racing sports meeting. Most everything else is to hard (like the SpongeBob sports meeting) or too simple (like the Mickey Mouse Sports meeting). This one is exact for him. I only wish there were more sports meeting that were as open finished in their gameplay as this one. I highly recommended it. But…always limit sports meeting playing in this age group. My sons Occupational Psychoanalyst thinks that 30 minutes of game play is excellent for coordination and conundrum solving…but longer than that can be problematic.
