I bought this game hoping that it would not suck, despite never having loved any of the Star Trek video sports meeting in the past.
If you just ignore all the server downtime, graphics cards issues, and bugs of a new game, you are still left with a slow paced space shooter that does not involve any tactics or even aiming. It is the worst of all gaming worlds thrown into one huge pile of poo. it is fun to glide around for about 40 seconds, until you realize how slow you are in fact moving and that it is going to take forever to get anywhere. Don’t even get me started on the ground team combat and lack of tactics options.
I am just upset I bought this and didn’t try the trial first. But the bordering Dell Taco to me is a 3 hour guide and they are not allowing anyone without a code to get a trial.

Game requires IE which is not listed in the spec’s above. The developers considers IE to be a “core windows component” in response to my help voucher. You cannot use something else like gecko. There is no other way to launch the game, and the developer not more than is insistent that this is not an issue. Buyer beware, and developers like this make me sad. Best part, its IE6.0 rendering. So sad.

I like this game been playing now for about 2 weeks and minus a couple bugs(the game of just came out at the time of writing this)….the only thing I don’t like is trying to learn space flight was a bit diffrent but once i got the hang of it it was simple….if you have ever dreamed of standing on the surface of some alien world and telling your ship to beam you up, then this is the game for you!! Bonus:Spock is there to do a cameo voice over!

I’ll admit that i am disappointed in the Collector’s edition from Amazon as it came incomplete. the Amazon Collector’s edition did not include the Comm badge Collector’s Pin. but it came with the Liberated Borg Drone Bridge Officer and that was the main and pretty much only reason i bought it from amazon.
…though had i known that it was going to be incomplete like that i would have just bought my collector’s edition else where and bought a regular edition for the drone
