Since the manufacture didn’t list the minimul supplies, here they are.
1. Broadband (Steam comes with this game)
2. Windows Outlook/XP, 1.0 GHZ Processor, 512 MB Ram. DirectX 9.oc. DirectX compatible 128 graphics card. DirectX compatible sound card. 200MB of available hard guide space … and Broadband.
If only I’d know about that Steam/broadband issue I never would have bought it…I don’t have broadband. I have not anything against Steam (I have a dozen copyrights myself to protect…but since Steam REQUIRES broadband…that means nobody can play any of their programs without broadband.
So, which is there, more broadbanders….or 5.6K dialup’ers?
bye.

Bought the downloadable version, the largest challege was learning the in’s and out’t of the game, and the game gets dull FAST……..
Largest conundrum is the body guards for the terrible guys, they just never seem to die, yet two shots from them and your dead.
I expected to at least have a choice in regards to game level of play, but no, just zero to impossible in 60 seconds…….

Glide around the galaxy, bring in bounties and buy/sell your way to the top! A really fun concept and decent gameplay, but I can’t help but reflect how much better it could have been with more thought and storyline. But, it is addictive and enjoyable- especially for the price.

I am in fact mad at this game. First, installing the game, it automatically installs an online patching/connection service that I did not want. But that is the only way to install the game and then that is the only way to start the game. I didn’t like that, as I didn’t need online aspects to play this basically solo game. That connection software then runs in the social class and slows my whole computer to a crawl, even after several reboots and even after turning it off.
So far, I have played 10-15 miniutes of the game and have suffered about 30 crashes. And since you cannot save the game (it saves it at periodic points, but you have no control), you lose all progress on most crashes. Many of these crashes, crashed my whole system. I have tried several resolutions, all patches are in, etc. but have been unable to stop the crashes.
So, I am giving up on thi one.

Ok lets face it this game is a splendid thought that didn’t quite make the cut. You start off effective off a debt. Items are all over the map and it plays like an rpg. but you also have fps sessions when you bounty hunt.
the largest downside i had was the game gets dull. buy up cheap goods and bounty hunt travel to another location sell off goods and do again.
like i said a splendid thought that just doesn’t make the cut. i was hoping for a spacesim like freelancer or freespace. Its not terrible but not splendid either.
