I’m getting straight to tha point, THERE IS NO SAMURAI SHODOWN V SPECIAL!!!!!! So six(6) sports meeting instead of seven. I-IV are awesome, but V and VI are downers, due to missing gameplay elements, and NO FATALITIES OR BLOOD, which helped make tha series as splendid as it is. By and large, I’m estatic about having the series to play on my PS3, but other than that, I’m a small hurt!!!

I’ve played all of the samurai shodown sports meeting and this one was pretty excellent. I just reflect snk could have down a small more in the sense of the graphics and game play. By and large its decent for a ps2 game.

Oddly enough, I never really knew there were five Samurai titles on the other systems such as Xbox for instance until I found out about this particular anthology. Also, if you are like me and a tad rusty which I am since I last encountered the Samurai confrontation on the SNES from way back in the day. The toughest thing about it is the control setups for the various sports meeting, having to figure out which button does what is a small bit tough if you are from the ancient school gaming crowd such as myself having to translate the controls from the SNES to PS2. Ancient School=Super Mario Brothers and it’s various forms (Super Mario World, Super Mario Brothers 3), Zelda (Original, Adventure of Link Link to the Past and the rest of the Zelda series on the varying systems. Ditto for Mario.) If someone decides to buy this game in the near future, I would strongly suggest using the practice mode for each game and get used to all the characters and find the one that best fits your playing stylishness. As for me, I still have a lot to learn about the sports meeting, and find my best fighter to work with throughout the series.
