In this game you can either fight for mankind as one of the many different human forces, with a huge arsenal of high-tech weaponry at your disposal, or take to the skies as a terrifying dragon and spread dread over the world, savaging the earth and destroying everything in your path, breathing fireballs and napalm. Either way you will witness reactive fire effects as flames spread and combust everything they touch. Trying to target the dragons in this game was increadibly frustrating. Could not get past the dragons in level three. Complete garbage, no fun what so ever. Would not even recommend renting this game.

When sports meeting are made from movies there pretty excellent, except for this one. If You Like Becoming A Dragon And Blowing Up EveryThing In Site, Buy It. But The Tale Mode Lacks Intrest. 2 Stars. Rent It.

fasten your controler because it will be flying. Hurl fireballs
to the earths scab and humans. Or be a human and fight the dragons with tons of vehicles and weapons. The aiming is terrible
but who cares with the fire effects and fun you are set.

This game is unbelievably awesome from the graphics to the storyline. If you liked the movie you’ll like the game. If you like the game you’ll like the movie (most likely).

The thought of the storyline of Reign of Fire is fascinating to say the least, and in a video game it should seem like a mindnumbingly fun thought. This PS2 version of Reign of Fire but, is extremely disappointing, and is just another movie licensed game to be added to the garbage heap. You get to guide around in a number of different vehicles while shooting hordes of swooping dragons, and eventually after finishing the human campaign, you can then choose to play as a dragon and lay fire down on helpless humans. While this all sounds like a fanboy’s dream on paper, the game’s execution nearly cascade flat on its face. The controls are buggy and unresponsive whether your in the human or dragon campaign, and while the graphics are splendid and all, there is a lot of brake when there is a lot of on-screen action. The small bit of fun that can be had with Reign of Fire is laying dissipate to the dragons (the control and feel when playing as a dragon feels like your playing as a flying brick) and just mowing down anything in site, and after a while, you’ll get bored with the repititious and tedious gameplay. All in all, fans of the film may want to give this a look, but all others should head for the hills.
