This and all reader rabbit series do not run on any Intel based mac. In other words if you bought your computer in the last 5 years or so it will not work. Also, it does not work on the more recent G4 computers. I have several macintosh computers and the only computer that this software will work on is over 10 years ancient. BTW just because these disks say OSX does not mean it will work. What it should say is OSX(in classic mode emulation) which has been phased out in macs for the past few years. Oh…. and the company does not respond to emails. This product is not work the effort.

While this program is one that I have seen at a couple daycares in my area, on my home computer this program hangs and intermittently changes colors.

My son has a speech conundrum. And this game is so splendid for him. You have to read by the side of with a books. I like the progress report that it give you. You can really see want they need to work on. He is also home schooled. So this give him a back from me teaching him. And it teach’s him computer skills. Would buy it again in a heart beat!!!!!!!!

We got it for my 3 yr ancient daughter and she enjoys it. She likes doing alphabet&phonics part of it and also book reading.
The cd is designed for xp but works fine for windows 7 so far. I recommend this for kids starting to learn alphabets, phonics and starting to read.
The shipment was quick and arrived in excellent condition as described.

We have about 5 other Reader Rabbit CD Roms and find that they are simple to use and entertaining. This one did not disappoint.
