this product is a splendid paperweight….. they work splendid for 15mins then u lose the mic. and before long there after u lost sound …. razor says we r sorry r engineers r effective with Microsoft 2 solve this issue they say its a conundrum with outlook 64 and SP2 ……in the mean time i get 2 delight in how well this product looks as a 150 dollar paperweight ………a dissipate of cash I’m glad the economy is excellent and I’m made of cash……NOT….don’t be a fool and dissipate your cash…….

My headset performs very well in terms of not crashing or making eerie noises. But, the quality is not the best. Is not always clear where is the sound coming from, if from the sides or from the back. Other than that, Im enjoying it a lto.

Pros:
SUPER comfortable.
This thing is REALLY nice to look at with it’s blue lights everywhere.
Sound quality is splendid!
Cons:
Would have been nice to have some way to mount the bulky sound controller out of the box.
Putting the headset back into it’s carrying case can be a bit awkward at times.
Price
By and large, I would recommend this thing to anyone who has ~$150 to spend on a headset. You certainly wont be disappointed, on the bright side if you’re ok with less sound quality and want the same awesome looking headset you can always get the Charcharias which is a pretty solid performer as well.

If you have win7 or outlook the sound and mic will cut out extremely frequently. Razed place out a fimware update to fix this, but it only reduces the frequency of this occuring. The firmware also screws up the mic making it place out TONS of static. This header would be the best ever it didn’t have these problems. But they do… And to those who reflect they can place up with the unplugging/replugging of the USB… It is possibly the most irritating thing when playing sports meeting or anything for that matter. The unpluggig freezes some sports meeting and firefox needs to be restarted every time you do that. I got upset just thinking about it.

My quickly written review.
You people are bonkers.
I own several razer harvest such as the razer mamba, megaladon and the destructor, and eventually the lycosa.
Maybe I have been lucky because I have not had any of these problems you people talk about. The mic cutting out is BS, they sound unusual in sports meeting. The only thing I do have a conundrum with is the mic, it does have some static on it, but you won’t notice it as long as you are not letting the mic run constantly, (use voice activation and turn the mic level in windows down and you won’t hear static.)
People who run their mic constantly are irritating anyways, you should use voice activation.
I like the small box that sits there, IMO it sits above my razer D next to my my mamba dock and looks so cool. I go it down next to my mouse and use it for adjusting the volume all the time; plain out useful for me.
I reflect a lot of the problems people are having with razer harvest are the result of misuse and not taking care of their harvest properly. I’ve use my megaladon 24\7 for a month now and it works splendid and sound unusual as I said before. Also the button to switch between stereo and surround is useful too. It’s nice to have excellent plain ancient stereo and then switch to surround sound for sports meeting and movies, but mainly sports meeting which they are meant for.
