UPDATE: Found a walk-thru on the internet that “walks” you thru all the levels. We finally finished the game, but there are still a handfull of trinkets we just couldn’t find. By and large, my son likes the game now. If your outcome likes the movie, this game is excellent fun.
>OK, I do know why, my 5yo son. It’s cute, but the menus are tough and the cheat codes I found, all but 2 don’t work. But my immediate interest is: We have been stuck in the attic (near the beginning of stage 1) looking for the final 2 apples for nearly 2 days now. frustrating? just a bit. i’ve been a casual gamer since the days of Atari – and i am clueless! this is a kids game? we know to use smell vision – so we know where the last 2 apples are – in the crates… but how in the hell do you get inside?!?!?!? PLEASE HELP!!!! The game is going into semi-retirement because the frustration level is too splendid – for my son and me!

I have never seen the movie, but I bought the game for PS2 after I had read the reviews from other players that were listed on this site. I really loved the game as well. It is a cute, fun, but challenging game. It takes some work to complete the missions and some of the objects in the levels are hard to find. I have played the game every day since I bought it and really delight in the challenge. Young or ancient, it is worth purchasing.

It’s a fun game. If you liked the movie, you’ll delight in reliving it again in the game. Only this time, you’re Remy! My daughter likes it.

I bought this for my son (6 at the time) and we both played it. At the time he was just getting into playing sports meeting and wasn’t very excellent at it. We had fun together. I helped with parts he couldn’t accomplish. It’s not a super simple game, in my opinion. It took us a while to beat it together. He still plays it.
