Exclusive UEFA Champions League License
New to the Pro Evolution Soccer series is an exclusive UEFA Champions League license. The UEFA Champions League is Europe’s greatest club competition, and the license means the game will have all the elements and attributes of the Champion League Competition. The Ligue 1 Orange and Eredivisie are both fully licensed, and the England League (Premier League), Italian League (Serie A) and Spanish League (La Liga) are partially licensed. Manchester United and Liverpool are the licensed English clubs in Pro Evolution Soccer 2009.
The UEFA Champions League mode is given a new box-stylishness presentation, where you get dramatic camera angles on replays, videos, and banner ads. By the side of with the official team names, upgraded graphics, and more life-like player movements, others watching you play might mistake the video game for an actual game on TV.
Become a Legend with New gameplay Mode
The new Become a Legend mode lets you make a player from scratch and focus on the individual player rather than a team. The game lets you customize the player down to the nominal detail, including his free kick run-up and celebration routine. If you use a supported camera, you can even place your face on the player and make team emblems. After you’ve made your character, the more your play, the more he improves.
After you have a legend you’re satisfied with, you can export him to an online legends game with four other players, where you team up and play against computer teams.
Realistic Ball Movement
Balls now go around more accurately thanks to adjustments for friction, air resistance, backspin, and more. This allows for new strategies and techniques such as lifting balls over defenders legs and doing tee shots. Improvements have also been made in passing and the reactions of your teammates. The upshot is a game that looks and plays more like real life.
Play With and Against Friends Online
In addition to the Legend online mode, you can also challenge your friend to a 1-on-1 match. If your friends aren’t online, there is also a quickmatch option that pairs you to a random online player.

This game is useless. Bottom line – online lags like crazy. Are you honest Konami? How can you not fix this conundrum? I feel cheated out of my cash. The only reason to play and keep playing footie sports meeting is to be able to play against the best human players around the world. Its impossible to have fun online with so much lag. I played Fifa until 2006 like an idiot because I didn’t know PES even existed. PES blew me away and ever since I’ve been addicted to it. Last year’s game didn’t live up to expectations either but the gameplay was still there. The pace of this game is so slow..and scoring from outside the box..forget about it! I despise to say it but I’m going to have to go back to Fifa. Its still an inferior product game-play wise but its online is flawless. I like playing in those online matches with someone from France and the tension feels like I’m playing in a semi-final world-cup match. This is ridiculous. Selling my game on e-bay and buying fifa 09. I’m not giving PES the benefit of the doubt in 2010. THis is ridiculous. Are you honest Konami?

The game is exactly the same as PS2’s PES 2003,2004,2005,2006
I would not advise any body to dissipate their cash on it.
PES has been doing the same go since the game first came out, all they do is change the issu date on the cover and only update the players statuses and conditions….. that’s it. No improvments what so ever graphics wise or controlling wise.

This is the best soccer game, cycle! It is very realistic, with all the new players in their new teams, and everyghing is updated. If you use it with a HDMI cable, you’ll get very detailed faces, moves, etc. Splendid game by and large!

I was very exited to get pes especially it was the first one I ever played. Anyways i was very disappointed, it has few nice future that fifa doesn’t but by and large that game need some honest improvement.

The best Soccer game in the market. The Ball Fisics and improved AI gives you a splendid expirience and with the editing options you can have the most up-to-date game.
