Prince of Persia is set in a land rooted in ancient Persian mythology, with the Prince finding himself caught in an epic battle between the primal forces of light and darkness—the god of Light, Ormazd versus his brother Ahriman, the destructive god of Darkness. The Prince arrives just in time to witness the destruction of the legendary Tree of Life, an act which threatens to plunge the entire world into eternal darkness. Manifested in the form of ‘the Corruption,’ a dark substance that physically contaminates the land and the skies, the Prince must partner with his new deadly companion Elika to heal the world from the evil Corruption.

A Frightening New Enemy and a Powerful Ally
As Ahriman, the god of Darkness is released so are his minions of monstrous slaves. The most perilous and powerful set against the Prince is known as “the Hunter.” Once a human prince himself, the Hunter was raised in opulent decadence and detached from the day-to-day world. His only passion was for the drama and cruelty of the hunt, but soon passion grew to obsession. After killing every variety of beast known, he grew bored and too bold. Recognizing an opportunity Ahriman appeared to him and offered a bargain, a hunt against the most perilous beasts the world has to offer in return for his soul. Foolishly he accepted and was transformed from man into demonic beast and was hunted by men from all over the world. His all-consuming rage made simple work of the hunters set against him, but also bound him to Ahriman for eternity.
But wherever there is evil, there is also a counter balance to it. Following the defeat and imprisonment of Ahriman, his brother Ormazd, the god of Light, left the world in the care of his servants, the Ahuras, guardians of the tree of life. The Prince’s new ally, Elika, is one of those guardians. Gorgeous and mysterious she is a powerful AI companion who accompanies players throughout the game. Filled with an unknown potential, she will be helpful in all aspects of gameplay, including acrobatics, combat and puzzle-solving as players quest to rid the land from Ahriman’s corruption.

Because of sports meeting like this, everyone thinks that the xbox is better than the ps3.
Sony invested a lot of cash, time, research, etc to make a console like the ps3, and ubisoft took all that and made a game that has gameboy graphics and lame tale. The previous sports meeting where really fun; the entire Prince of Persia saga for the ps2 is awesome. But for some reason, ubisoft thought that making a childish-cartoony-looking (with a lame tale) game, they were going to have the buyers attention.
You don’t even need a ps3 for this game, a ps2 would had been enough for this tackiness.

Firt off, I have played and beaten this game. I gave it three stars because of its ending, unlike the other “Prince” titles this one’s ending is not only horrible, but it dosen’t clarify why? If it had like alternate endings like “Fallout 3″ I would have played it again to get the other ending. But I do not want to take away from the Game’s briliant devlopment, it is the best looking of all the “Prince” titles out there. But, in the others you had more control over the Prince, unlike this one, I am referring mainly to “The Two Thrones” (3rd title). I believe there will be more “Prince” titles in the future, but lets hope they don’t have crappy endings.

This game is fantastic and it is fun and exciting. This game graphic effect was splendid. The game play is so cool. This time Prince of Persia never die unless the princess ignore him. I saw the couple of game trailers they were incredible. Also this game end not simple but combat play is brilliant when you fight the Boss. I’m glad Prince of Persia not die quickly. Because the princess help him a lot when he got troubled. This game is incredible. I recommanded for who like this game. I mean it really excellent.

Before I get on the terrible I’ll say the “excellent” and this is the Prince and his compadre graphically are flawless and the 3d effects will be copied by others. Now the Terrible? This game is a combinations of Sonic the Hedgehog and Conan the Barbarian on PS3 in a terrible way. This game gives you one enemy to fight every 15 minutes (after running up parapet (like sonic), upside down parapet, over ramps and bridges for over 98% of the game.)The basis of this game makes me reflect greenpeace endorsed it b/c the Prince and his friend go from one cave to another to heal the land; this means watching the grass grow by critical a button. The fighting is nearly nonexistent since you don’t fight at any time more than one enemy at a time; and when you do fight an enemy you just press one button over and over. At first the boards look impressive until you realize the concept is the same and only a few colors or pillars/poles/ or circular objects are different. It is then I realized I was wasting my time after playing the game for 6 hours and quit. There were no puzzles, no moving pillars, no opportunity for the gamer to use his/her brain.Your character never develops (by this I mean gaining new moves, weapons, powers). The hideous?Maybe if I was younger this game would be okay, but I never liked corny witty sayings. It’s stupid, corny, hideous. The courtesies the Prince takes to catch the princess or swing her as he passes by her saying “excuse me”, just isn’t called for. Each enemy looks the same (a glob of blue and black mess). This game could have been excellent if it stuck to the blueprint of POP2-Sands of Time and POP1, but it didn’t. I was disappointed so much that I had to write this review twice b/c the first review was never posted.
