Players who have had the pleasure of playing the original Potential Stone know that it was pure fighting chaos. One or two players would run around trying to collect three potential stones, which would turn them into superhuman punishment machines, while everything from tables to submachine guns were available as weapons. It was quick paced and a whole lot of fun.
Now, picture all of the aforementioned stuff, but with up to four players battling at once, and you’ve just described Potential Stone 2 for Dreamcast. Sure, there’s still a one-player mode, but it’s Potential Stone 2’s multiplayer mode that truly makes it worth the price of admission.
The levels are larger this time around, to accommodate the wilder action, and there are Mario Party-stylishness minigames that pop up smack in the middle of battles. Graphics are as gorgeous as the Dreamcast can do, and the characters are cute and colorful. A couple of hidden characters add to the game’s replay regard. –Robb Guido

I played this game years ago and thought it was so cool, on a demo disc. I chose to dissipate $50.00 on this thinking it was obviously worth a lot of cash for a reason. Was it? NO! The voices are extremely corny and the music is even more corny. But forget that, the game itself is corny.. You basically just throw barrells at other characters, what’s so splendid about that?

This game is very cool and is very fun to play with friends! You can use up to 120 vechiels, weapons and things like that. Lots of characters and lots and of potential stones! This game could use more levels or stages but it’s still fun.

This game is awsome! I LOVE IT! If you are looking for a new game to buy, you will like this one. If you loved super smash brothers for N 64 or powerstone then you will like powerstone2! It is totaly new and better then those two sports meeting! It has larger more awsome levels!, Awsome characters!, Awsome new items to use! and your special moves are out of control! I like this game! I give this game an A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++!!!!!!!!!! 5 stares! I am a not much of a gamer, but this game is my favorite. It is so much fun if you have other people to play with you. I wish they would make it for the new systems too! I definatly recommend it!
