I used to play Guitar Hero. This beatles Rockband’s sound match with instruments is better, but graphic is terrible. I hope they increase graphic part of this game. Best songs, but simple to make me bored because of the unadorned graphics.

Like it. Like it. Like it. My 6 year ancient and all her friends like it, too. Too terrible Rock band 2 doesn’t have the splendid video that Rock Band Beatles does. Why the hell am I typing this when I could be playing Rock Band Beatles? Must be the Rahr & Sons beer.

I debated buying this because of the high price tag vs. amount of actual make pleased. This game features a mere 40 (or so) tracks, whereas the standard versions of Guitar Hero boast 90+ songs. I bought it anyways because I am a Beatles fan, so while I am not surprised that I was let down, i still feel its not worth the cash. You can easily breeze owing to this game in a couple (and i do mean a ‘couple’ literally) hours, and since all the songs are already unlocked when you buy the game, progressing owing to the ‘tale’ is pointless unless you want to unlock some photos.
Of course, all the real make pleased from this game is gonna come from DLC, where they’ll probably charge you twenty bucks per baby book. If you buy this and are a hardcore Beatles fan, be prepared to shell out boatloads of cash in the future to get the songs and albums they should have place on here in the first place. I consider myself a hardcore Beatles fan, so I know all the songs. Even so, I was disappointed with the tracklist, as alot of the obvious hits were left out in favor of baby book cuts (i.e., leaving out “Help” to squeeze in “I Dig A Pony”).
As far as the gameplay, its typical Rock Band. Meaning…its way too simple for musical minded people and I reflect its way to forgiving of errors. Certainly seems like it was dumbed down for the masses. Unless you play on Expert, you’ll just be mindlessly strumming 1-2-3-4 for most of the songs. Again, tale mode is pointless but the art design is cool, as is the studio prattle during load screens. Makes you feel like you really are getting ready to record a take in the studio. Still, I cant help but feel like this is merely a very expensive disc to get you to download expensive DLC.
Casual music fans will probably want to skip this in favor of another version of rock band or guitar hero that has double the tracks for less cash…or wait til the price drops for a used copy. Beatles Rock Band is certainly for hard core fans only…and even they probably will be let down because theres just not enough of it to justify the full price.

This edition of Rock Band I have mixed feelings on. I do like the Beatles, and am pleased with the buy by and large, but when compared to the previous 2 rock bands and now Guitar Hero 5, this did not do much for this genre of gaming, at least from what I have played thus far. It did add harmonizing vocals, but no new features like party mode or multiple guitar or bass play as did Guitar Hero 5. Secondarily, I find myself playing this in hard mode to keep myself entertained for many of the first half of the playlist, when I am at best a medium player thus far on other musical sports meeting. I like the graphics of the Beatles, and they have done a wonderful job with by and large rendering, but the mix of colors can be distracting to the highways and in fact at times interfere with me seeing the clarification coming down. I bought the game only, since I have enough plastic instraments to play with at this time, so hopefully the new instraments are as excellent as they appear, and that may be a excellent addition for some folks who may need to update them. If you are not a hardcore Beatles fan, or nearing completion of the other sports meeting to the best of your ability, this can wait. For me, I got it the day of release because I’m a fan, no regrets.

The title says it all. Two of the Beatles’ songs that I looked forward to playing the most were not in the game! And I realize that they are not full-band songs, but feel very dissapointed nevertheless.
Having said that, I have to admit that the graphics in this game are brilliant. I kept wanting to look away from the upcoming clarification to see what is happening on the rest of the screen. As long as you are comfortable with the setlist BEFORE you buy the game, you will like it. I am just glad I rented.
