Sure glad I only paid $6.95 for this! Lousy feel, just a cheap peice of junk.

I bought this to complete my costume for 2009 Halloween as I was dressed as Prince. The next bordering thing was an air up guitar they sell in Europe. I realize this wasn’t what the guitar was made for, but it served it’s purpose =). If you’d like to see pictures, send me a message =).

Don’t dissipate your time or your cash! Sure $13 is cheap but it does not sync worth a darn, and it is so poorly made (the pedal) that the button will cave in. Total time of ownership 10 mins (Including time to return). All I can say is at least Amazon has a excellent return policy. Just buy the name brand (Guitar Hero or Rock Band) it may cost you 4x as much, but it will work out of the box and get you rocking straight away. Only reason it gets one star, they wouldn’t let me give it a zero.

The game looks fascinating but the guitars do not work that well at all. Getting them to sync up with the Playstation is a virtual nightmare. After continuing to have problems with this, changing batteries, trying to get one to work, it was much simpler to just bag the whole thing and get a system that would work. Went to Walmart which is what I should have done in the beginning and bought a system there Aerosmith and all effective fine now. Going to take the guitars bought before to Gamestop and see if I can get a credit for them.

I reflect this item is pretty-self explanatory so I will keep it quick:
Usability: I started playing these sports meeting with RB, and while I prefer RB to GH, I never liked the RB guitar. I like this guitar because it is longer than the GH one (at least the grown-up ones) but it has the same stylishness as the GH keys and the clickable strum bar. I don’t care for the small frets either. It’s also pretty comfortable (as cheap toy guitars are going to be). 3/3 stars here
Setup: not too much to do, just place in the batteries, connect the belt, and plug in that wireless base thing. The one thing I found irritating is that you have to keep it in Guitar Hero mode for it to work with RB2, at least for me. I had to Google this to get it effective, or RB2 would go crazy go the cursor around like made. 0.5/1 star
Stylishness: I like Rock Band, but if you reflect this plastic toys look excellent, you’re smoking something. That being said it’s as excellent as any other toy guitar, so I’ll give it something. 0.5/1 star
I’ve only had this thing for a month and don’t use it much (4th guitar). As long as it doesn’t chew up batteries or break in the next couple years of light use, but, it was a splendid deal for $7 bucks.
