The sound and performance part of this headset were splendid. It’s a far superior product to say, something like the basic BT125 that came with Warhawk. Using it was simple, the buttons are brightly laid out, have a nice size, pairing it was a breeze, and the sound quality was nice. But, the physical design is ridiculous.
The loop that goes over the ear is barely attached to the earpiece itself. It looks flimsy and it is. The loop comes off in your hands, forget about putting it over your ear. The slightest movement and the thing cascade apart. the hinge is not solid either, combine this factor with the flimsy design and huge bulky headset and you get a mess.
To top it all off, it’s not even interchangeable. It can only be worn on the right ear. What? Why?! I really wanted to like this headset despite it’s cost but after trying it out for a few minutes, I couldn’t even get it to stay together, so I never could even place it back on.
I would rate this higher, but hopefully sony allows 3rd party manufacturers (here’s looking at you Logitech) to utilize the technology included in this headset. Whether they do or not, the thing needs a revision and I’ll pour like all over it.
I want to see a standalone charger for this unit. I don’t get the point of speakerphone-like capability if I have to keep it tethered to my PS3 way across the room. Also glad I have a 60gb unit, I’d despise to be one of those poor suckers out there with only 2 USB ports. Anyways, I sent it back. I really wanted to like this thing, but some basic yet large glaring flaws keep me from enjoying it and I sent it back.

I plugged it in and not anything but red ring to charge. Turns on and flashes green, no sound, not anything. Instructions say just plug in to PS3 and it will auto sync, a lie. No other instructions, jusr a flashing green light and no response. I bought this PS3 two weeks ago and it is very frustrating if you are used to XBOX360 – right plug and play. Sorry, Sony but you guys blew it with PS3 inferior in every area. Don’t buy a PS3 it is lame and the online aspect is really crude.

This product could not be worse. First of all, it comes in wasteful and impossible to open packaging. Secondly – there are NO INSTRUCTIONS which for a device that has 4 bewildering buttons and unintuitive functionality – this is criminal. Third, when I connect to my PS3 – it doesn’t get recognizable by the machine. When I try to pair with my phone, there’s no response. And lastly, the comfort of the device on the ear is non-existent. I could have fashioned a more comfortable earpiece out of razerwire and scouring pads. Worth your time and expense? I reflect not.

This bluetooth paired with my PS3 but when I play my game and turn the potential on to the device, the other person I was playing could not hear me and I could not hear them. Why is this. Can someone write a review and tell me why I couldn’t get this bluetooth to work at all. I will probably be sending this back. I know the bluetooth wasn’t broke because when I turned on the potential, the green light blinked at a snail’s pace and when I turned up the volume, I heard the beeping noise. Why won’t this work. Very frustrating. I despise it when I pay a lot of cash for [...]!!! Especially when this received very excellent reviews.
