I spent two hours trying to get just one controller to link to the console with no results. There is no support for these anywhere, even the manufacturer’s website. Plus they are way too small, my thumbs were bumping into eachother. Utterly and completely worthless.

I liked these controllers with the exception of the size. My Brother took them away from me when his got broken by his 2 boys. I haven’t had much chance to really get to use them but I did like them.

Chalk me up as one of the satisfied users of this product. I’ve had these for five months now and am quite pleased. Installation was a no-brainer and took seconds, reception is exact no matter where you are in my large living room, and the controls are solid. I’ve heard that there are long term issues with buttons sticking, but I see no sign of this yet. If these controllers last even one year (and the player 2 controller will inevitably outlive the player 1 controller), then they were worth the cash, as far as I’m concerned.
Another criticism of these controllers is that they are too small. Well I have very large hands, and I have not had a conundrum using these. Of course, I don’t have much experience using the larger regular-sized controllers (I bought these straight away when I got my PS2), so maybe it’s harder when you’re switching from the standard size.
My only real criticism of these controllers is that they shut off automatically after only a minute or so of inactivity. If there’s a long movie clip, for example, and you’re not critical anything on the controller, it just shuts itself off to save array potential. This might seem like a excellent thought, but you then have to switch the controller off, wait 20 to 30 seconds, and then switch it back on to get it to work again. This is very irritating. Whenever I play Kingdom Hearts, I have to keep critical buttons every time it goes to a movie clip (which is often!). You’ll have to get into the habit of switching the controller off before going to the bathroom or going to the kitchen for a snack. Be forewarned about this.
Oh, and any wireless electronic device is going to drain batteries like there’s no tomorrow, so I strongly recommend investing in some rechargeable triple A batteries. I use an inexpensive Energizer recharger that has them recharged in 15 minutes flat. If you’re playing a release player game, this means you can just use the other remote for a level or two as the recharger does it’s job.

I bought these controllers groundbreaking new because of the splendid pointer by users and the prospect that my kids couldn’t pull the PS2 off the table by yanking the cord. Though I tried two sets of new batteries and followed all the directions in the package, the controllers would never hold a connection more than a few seconds. The wireless connection would drop off constantly and you would be always be trying to reconnect them. I’m done with wireless controllers.
