Just wait till Phantasy Star comes to the Xbox. The release dates will be very close (if not the same), but the Xbox version will be much much better. Not just the better graphics and sleaker controls, but the fact that voice chat and quicker online gameplay, thanks to Xbox’s broadband, will add a better experience to the whole world of Phantasy Star.

Alright this game is one thing you going owing to a world that is not that huge and shoot run shoot run, the enemys that come up in the same place over and over again this game is NOT a RPG at all and there is no posible way you can say that it is, it is a adventure game, there is mention of a tale at the start but owing to the level’s (the orignal dreamcast one has only 4) You hear not anything at all about the tale except from thies small stand things and even that is like “our ship crasted we were stranded” all and all if you can do the same thing over and over agin and have fun then you might like the game, the only reson I gave this two stars is because it is fun for about 3 weeks, then you wake up, but just dont fall into the hype people who want a RPG for GC this is not one in the lest bit, you are looking at a pure hak and slash. Contracted I have only played the Dreamcast version, but from my understanding they are not changing much, or adding a tale.

Yes…I know, you RPG fans won’t pay any attention to me, but leave this horrible game alone. Don’t buy, or even rent this disgrace to RPG sports meeting. I was very dissapionted with this game. You don’t even have to reflect when you play this game. THE PUZZLES ARE NOT THE LEAST BIT CHALLENGING. All you do is run around and shoot stuff.
Try staring at a wall for an hour. PSO is exactly as entertaining
as a wall. If there was a category for very dull sports meeting, this game would get the gold medal. Even if you see PSO for cheap, just walk
away from it, unless you can’t get to sleep. Play this game for a few minutes and you’ll be sound asleep
PROS: Excellent multiplayer/online play
+Play this if you can’t get to sleep
CONS: Levels are waaaaaaaay too long
-Puzzles are unadorned
-as exciting as a wall
-Barely any plot shape
-an by and large horrible game

The Dreamcast version was excellent but now this one has 3 new characters and a new area called Jungle. This will be splendid because it has 4 players offline.
