Product Description
Looking for a fun and helpful way to implementation? Personal Trainer Walking tracks users’ progress and makes going for a walk a small more fun. It comes with two Activity Meters! Simply place the Activity Meter in your pocket or bag (or glue it to your belt with the included Activity Meter Clip Connector) and carry it around with you as you go about your daily routine. If the number of steps you’ve recorded in one day exceeds your daily step target, the light on the Activity Meter will change from red to green. You then transfer the data recorded by the Activity Meter to the Infrared Game Card. Once the data has been transferred, you can see the results on your Nintendo DS system and check your life rhythm! The Activity Meter will track your daily step count minute by minute, so you can take a look at any day and check your activity with a number of graphs. Up to five years of records can be saved on the calendar, giving you a clear likeness of your life rhythm over time—you can even write and save clarification.Amazon.com Product Description

This is NOT fully functional with your Wii. Do not buy it unless you have the $169 Nintendo DS unit. I’m a REAL novice to the Wii and have never played with any Nintendo product before getting a Wii console and Wii Fit Pro. This review is to help out other novices. This product is advertised in a pamphlet which came with the Wii Fit Pro we just got for Christmas. Due to my limited Nintendo experience, I did not realize it would not work with my system. Those who are familiar will recognize that Nintendo DS is not the same as a Wii. $44 later, I too now know the difference. But I did not when I ordered because I’m was still trying to absorb all this new technology and it’s associated vocabulary. I find it misleading for Nintendo to include advertising for such software with the Wii Fit Pro without making it clear that one needs a $169 unit in addition. Due to the lack of such details, I will give it a low rating.

My wife and I were looking for a fun way to count steps each day and encourage us to meet our goals. Well, that much is accomplished by the stepper; but, fun???? No. Each day, the same stupid comments are made on the DS and no new encouragement or extra thoughts are offered. It must have been programmed by a college apprentice effective on his first assignment. There are some unadorned add on’s but not worth the effort.
Would I buy it again? NO. It might be worth the $10 that it will gravitate to in a year or two. AND to add insult to injury, my wife lost hers so I had to spend another $25 with shipping to just get one more monitor!!! What a dissipate!

I wasnt a huge fan because it is all just walking. And you cant play any sports meeting on the DS with it, all you can do is sync it to your ds. it shows you when your most active and when you’ve been meeting and its a legit activity meter, it just isnt the most exciting game.

I traded in a bunch of sports meeting to get this, so it only cost me $8.00 out of pocket. Had I paid the $50 for it, I would have been VERY upset. The pedometers do seem to count your steps accurately…but that’s it. I was looking forward to using the program, more than anything, but there isn’t much to it. It gives you graphs on how you did for up to a month. No trivia or anything to help you with shape habits, no sports meeting. My ancient pedometer gives me more info, like calorie burn estimate, space, etc. I reflect Nintendo should have done way more with the software.

This trainer is fascinating for about 3 days. Note if you keep the pedometer in your pocket and go for a ride in your car-it records every bump as a step. Very misleading.
