I wanted to place this review here in case someone was thinking about buying this product. I realize it’s just a link, but some people don’t know to check these type of sites before purchasing an item and I became VERY interested after reading the following review. Make sure you check out the video review as well.

Compare to the Zapper. Make sure to note the part about the non-squishy trigger for rapid firing, the simple setup and the precise aiming because those were the key points I wanted you to read.
Let me know if you guys like this product. I haven’t bought it yet, but I would really like to know and maybe try out Ghost Squad with it

I just bought the nyko exact shot for the wii. What a poorly made product. When you shoot the trigger it causes it to push the B button on the wii remote. When this movement happens the wii remote will lift up and apply pressure on the orange band at the end of the gun causing it to snap off! This happened while reloading during a game of house of the dead. When the gun was raised back at the tv to continue shooting the wii remote flew right out of the gun and hit my groundbreaking new sony 52 inch LCD Tv. This shattered the screen on the tv. I called nyko and the said the would replace the defective gun but they aren’t going to do anything about my box. Has anyone had this conundrum too?

I’m new at this and may not be doing the product justice. But…
The “Exact Shot” is like the frame (receiver) of a semi-automatic pistol. The Wii remote mounts on it as would the slide on a pistol. Playing Resident Evil 4, pulling the trigger activates the B button. The on-screen character extends his gun to a firing position. Then you have press the A button on the top of the remote unit to fire the gun. It’s simpler to play using the remote alone.
While the above alone would disqualify this product for anyone who shoots in competition and is looking for simulator practice, I would add that the unit has no front sight, and if it did, it would not shoot to point of aim.
Resident Evil 4 is outstanding. For anyone familiar with firearms, “Exact Shot” is worthless.

This is only my opinion, but even with the Exact Shot, sports meeting like Call of duty are pointless on a console. It lacks the fluidity offered by a unadorned mouse and keyboard setup on a PC. You can’t control the management of you character with out having to use that hand to also hit buttons on to of the exact shot with your left hand. Clumsy at best. That said, I had no problems with the company I ordered it from. Sports meeting Diva I believe. Everything arrived in exact condition and in a timely fashion. Would order from them again.

I bought this to use with the Wii sports meeting that involve shooting. Made sense to have something that looks like a gun rather than just aiming the control. I thought it would make my aim better. You know what … I have had this for about 8 months and I have yet to even try it. Guess it was not so necessary. I am sure it probably works fine though.
