I play the Yugioh sports meeting on my DS while lying down with my DS on my chest. I used to have to hold up the DS with my left hand while my right hand manipulated the stylus; this resulted in hand cramps in the left hand. Now that I have this stand, I prop it against a pad on my chest and I can let my left hand rest while I use the stylus with the right.
Of course, I’m not playing Yugioh anymore, since I finished the game, so…this is just meeting around on the windowsill. But eventually I will need it again, I’m sure…

This stand makes gameplay more comfortable. It is simple to use, but comes with instructions anyway. It is very adjustable; so far I have been able to position it in every position that I’ve wanted to whether I’m lying in bed or meeting (or even slouching) on the sofa.
The extra long stylus that is included is a plus; now I want to know where I can get more in case I lose this one. The stand does have two indentations to prevent the stylus from rolling away; I nearly consider this a con because they don’t hold a stylus securely and the stylus will glide off when you lift the whole thing. Still it gives you a spot to rest the stylus.
The stand seems to be sturdy, although being plastic and having a honestly complex adjustment mechanism, you will have to take some care with it. But, I would expect it to last some time as long as you are not rough.

this is the best accessory since the clear play stand i bought earlier. i have a black ds lite and this stand goes with it. it is simpler than the clear stand in that the holder of system rotates instead of being pulled out and place back in slots. it is simpler to have the stand on a pad on lap when playing sports meeting. it’s simpler to place a hand on bottom of stand than to hold system i n hand alond and to try and hold still. to me, this accessory is a MUST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have another stand I bought for my DSi, but this one is far better! AND it comes with a long stylist! Something I didn’t realize when I ordered this. You can adjust it so you can use both ways of viewing your DSi, up and down or across from each screen. When I first tried this out, I was doing something incorrect and the stand seemed to sit low. But, I finally realized what I was doing incorrect and it sits at a real nice height to play. No loose parts to get lost like my other stand. This is a quality product. You will be glad you have it, especially if you play puzzle sports meeting where holding the DSi is not an option during play. You can angle this stand for optimum viewing. Ok, I am not sure Amazon knows what this is, but they are asking me to rate this “game” so I am rating it a five star, not because it is a game, but a game accessory well worth your cash! lol

This works very well (unlike some that were like this a few years ago.) My hands get stiff when I hold DSi for to long, this works well when that is a conundrum. My husband had a stroke so only has one hand that works. Before we got this he had to place the game on a table and play it, not simple.
He has no conundrum with this. I may have to place the game system into the stand but after that, he can play simple. I am very pleased with this and ‘may’ get a second one.
