I got this for my blue DSi. I was originally looking into a silicon case, but I never really liked those. I got this instead, and I’m really glad I did. It does add a small weight to the DSi, but it doesn’t matter much. It fits into most DSi bags and cases, and again, I really do like it. It also looks really splendid on the blue DSi. I recommend it.

The cover fits brilliant. It stays on and protects the outside of the DSI. The only drawback is that the DSI will not fit into a dock for charging with the case installed.

Case fits perfectly on the DSi, and offers some protection to the outside of the DSi. Seems to protect the weak DSi hinges a bit, which is excellent because the Nintendo hinges are known to break. It will keep the DSi from getting scratched, but will not do much for protecting against drops. It doesn’t hurt that they look splendid and are not bulky.

This item is garbage. It is my guess that there is absolutely no metal in it. It has tiny small plastic nubs that are supposed to hold the top of the so-called “protector” to the bottom piece but it cascade off every time you touch it. I loved the green for my grandson who’s favorite affect is green and was impressed with the thought of a metal case to protect his DS but the only thing that I got was “green”. Don’t bother. I honestly can’t even give this one star…needless to say I’ve returned it.
