Nintendo is a kiddie company. The people who play sports meeting from Nintendo are usually kids. And no, I am NOT a violent kid but seriously, mario and the rest of the charcters nintendo has made are getting ancient. I like shooters and online sports meeting and PSP is going to have both.

EGM said Metroid for DS at E3 was terrible

The sports meeting on the DS is geat but the system it self has a bunch of useless features and seems to just complicate a unadorned game. Also with all the 3D enhancements and so small buttons… it limits the possiblities and the having a extra screen just makes it more expensive, heavy, and neck breaking.PSP seems to be a much better system with much more useful features. Though if PSP don’t have a lithium rechargable array… It’s screwed. But I suggest…
DON’T BUY A DS UNTIL NEXT CHRISTMAS. They will probally be cheaper and you’ll won’t have to agonize about “What if the PSP is better?!”
Final Conclussion:
I’ll wait for a PSP.
A DS is…
-Bulky
-Hideous
-Graphically Nice
-Useless Features with irritating navigation.
A PSP is…
-Compact
-Stylish
-Graphically Incredible
-Useful with (seems to be) simpler navigation.

This thing is a total dissipate of cash. I borrowed my friend’s for a week during the summer and the sports meeting sucked. They were either childish or not my type. Nintendo only makes sports meeting for either children or the Japanese gamer. They don’t make sports meeting for the average mature American gamer. Also the graphics are no better than the GBA’s. It’s just a GBA with two screens, wifi, and a stylus. This machine also lacks features; doesn’t playback video’s, music, or photo’s and has barley used it’s wifi feature. The screen where you use the stylus also gets scratched from excess use. Only buy it for you or somebody else if you are either a outcome, lack excellent taste in sports meeting, or if you have yet to grow up and still like only E rated sports meeting. Seriously if you want a excellent time go get a PSP, they know what the customer wants. Finally don’t believe what the Nintendo fanboy’s say about it. They say the sports meeting sucks and are few and far between but they forget to mention that it was released many months after the DS and the excellent sports meeting are already comming out. They say it lacks array potential capacity it doesn’t I use it a hour a day at least and I only recharge it every four days and the screen only scratches if you are heavy handed. I have mine since the release over half a year ago and I take it everywhere (vacation, subway, college, car, etc) I just wipe the screen off with the rag it came with and it looks new and never have I had a dead pixel. The time of Nintendo has finished and the time of Sony and the PSP has come!!

OK lets get started…….with the DS….as an outline
2 3 inch screens
1 touch screen
GBA-N64 graphics
Made by Nintendo
No multimedia features unless get a play-yan which costs $$
Built in Memory
200 or something mhz proccessor
12-14 hours array life
Now its time for PSP outline
1 4.5 LCD Plasma widescreen show
PS2-XBOX graphics
Made by Sony
Built in multimedia features with updates (such as internet browser)
Uses Sony’s memory stick duo
333 mhz proccessor (quicker than PS2)
8-10 hours of array life while playing sports meeting
OK the comparison
PSP has 1 huge screens while the DS has 2 GBA size screens.
PSP has much better graphics than DS (just look at SW3 for DS compared to SWbattlefront 2 for PSP)
Company wise Nintendo is targeted for slightly young audiences which they have admitted
PSP has quicker proccessor
DS has no multimedia features except with play-yan which requires SD cards which are similiar in price to Memory Stick Duos
DS has built in memory I guess you can consider that as an advantage but, PSP comes with a small memory stick duo but you can always upgrade to 128 mb for 30 bucks or less these days
DS has slightly more array life than PSP, but new batteries have been coming out which get double array time than the original array that comes with the PSP
Price range for PSP is $230-$250 while DS is $130 which is an advantage over the PSP, but with PSP you get more bang for your buck
GAMES!!!
The most vital aspects of any console are its sports meeting. Nintendo virtually makes 1/2 of all DS sports meeting. While Sony is a bit more modest and only makes about 1/4 of all PSP sports meeting. And none can deny Nintendo typically makes sports meeting for “younger” audiences. I like shooters and online play which the PSP both has (SOCOM, SW battlfront 2, Battlefield Modern Combat). Where as Nintendo makes more platformers. And I want to question where the heck are people getting “thoughts” that all its sports meeting for PSP are PS2 remakes?! OK they are called series. SOCOM for example. Wow, look at Nintendo now the name Mario 64 implies literally that their have been 64 sports meeting with mario in them!!!! Geez Donkey Kong has been around alot more than any Sony series. And I am NOT for GTA so be silent about being “violent”. Nintendo’s sports meeting are at best only mildly entertaining.
IN CONCLUSION
PSP is better than DS because of the reasons I have just stated. If you are willing to spend the cash, you wont be disappointed (unless you are a nintendo fanboy). And not to mention the PSP is a whole lot sleeker
PSP will be the best handheld console until the Portable X comes out.
P.S.
EGM said Metroid for DS sucked because of lack of online play.
