The lightsaber stylus is very cool. The huge conundrum is that they do NOT fit in the storage slot on the DS itself and you have to keep track of them.

awesome thought….but the stylus DOES NOT STAY IN THE NINTENDO DS for storage when you’re finished playing the game ? so after you’re done…you have to try to keep track of the stylus !!!

I works like a normal stylus, I don’t reflect It’s necessary to review how it works , its durability,or how much fun can you have with it, because its a regular stylus.Now, should you buy it? if you have the cash, and you like star wars you should do it, they do look splendid, and they are a cool thing to have.

I’m kicking myself – because there it is – on Amazon’s page – these won’t fit into the Nintendo DS stylus slot on the back. Wish I would have noticed that sooner – as cool looking as they are – I probably wouldn’t have bought them.
I’m also a small miffed that the packaging says it’s particularly made for the DS Lite – which visibly it is not.
What’s the point of making a stylus like this if it doesn’t fit? I can know making a huge “hard to loose” stylus – but it’s like they got nearly everything they needed to do to make it the right size – and then just cheaped out at the end (handle). They even went so far as to make a small nub that sticks up like a regular stylus – but it’s not even close to where it needs to be to fit.
Perhaps they couldn’t offer the level of detail they wanted if they made it fit into the stylus slot. But, I would have been pleased if the stylus fit snugly into the opening – and then had a part sticking out – that would have been fine.
As it is now, it’s just waiting to get lost. And I certainly won’t be buying this product again.

My 11 y/o received this Star Wars Lightsaber stylus pack in his stocking for Christmas. When questioned his three favorite gifts, this was one of them. He is a Star Wars fanatic and likes anything Star Wars, especially lightsaber related, so this was just exact. The stylus does not fit all the way into the DS storage space but my son doesn’t care. You will not delight in this is you do not like Star Wars. Any Luke and Anakin Skywalker fan will like these. I gave it five stars because my son LOVES it.
